I think this is a good idea! Until this is done, please 'Add Selected Notes To Clipboard' and paste in another track.

Hi

what do you think about a feature that a midicontroller number can choose for endless knobs and when this controller is move, it change the value of the slider under mouse pointer.so to change values need only move the mouse over it and can rotate the knob with left hand. think this feature is even more usefull when use noteboooks with touchpad, because touchpad is with click and move not very precise

I have a bug with the newest beta version of RC on windows 8.1 64bit, every since i updated RC and hit play, or stop, or space bar this happens

This is worrying. Have you tried holding down the Ctrl key during starting RC? There were some errors during loading the previous composition. Would you check your audio settings? What happens when you click on the "Test Audio" button?

3.1Beta19 is available

(Most probably the last beta before v3.1.)

Changes:

The "GeneralUser GS" soundfont is distributed with RapidComposer with kind permission from S. Christian Collins. Some soundfonts were removed from the distribution.
The instrument preset selection menu can display groups, so you don't have to browse all GM presets in one long menu
Hanging notes with VST plug-ins fixed caused by rounding in a calculation
More feedback is shown during startup
The notes in the Melody Generator are NOT converted to chord note+scale step as introduced in v3.1b15, instead there is an option in the Options menu for that
Fixed vertical size limit in History list

Hi Attila
I find a problem when song is play and i press solo for my melody track, the notes in chord track hang. should i do video ?, hang happen also in GS sound i test. the gs sound is a good idea, but i think there should 1 master VST effect slot possible to add reverb limiter(more can add in a VST rack)

thanks for letting me know. I found the same bug while I was playing the included sample compositions with the new GS soundfont. I'll fix this ASAP.
VST effects will soon arrive to RapidComposer!

It seems loading the last composition left the program in a bad state.
I'll check how this can happen, but if you still have the last composition that RC tried to load, I would love to have a look at it.

Hi secondstep!

I can see that there is obviously something wrong, but I made much longer composition where this worked. So I am not able to reproduce this at the moment. If you could send me the composition on the picture, that would help.
On the other hand I realized that rendering the UI becomes ridiculously slow. Now I made the UI rendering 20-30 times faster when the velocity function is displayed.

Hi Attila , l rebooted the computer and reloaded the project and the problem with the velocity generator has gone. Apologies l should have tried that before reporting the bug.

I will send the project on as you may still want to have a look at it.

Great news about speeding up the UI rendering I had wondered why RC was so slow to react recently !

when press and hold key p (preview phrase in the composition with all unmuted tracks) the phrase is play in loop, but on every loop start there is a little delay, so it play out of sync. Do you see a easy and fast to add way, that can play perfect in loop and sync, so can hear easy how the phrase sound when it is repeat ?

It would be well to make the start and end of the loop been played
synchronously with the movement of the Loop - Timeline (No the need to stop play)!
