It is super important for certain kinds of sounds. Basically, it's the only reason why I'm still keeping Sylenth.
You may think you can fly ... but you better not try

For the third time I have hit the INIT button right next to the MENU button and it is becoming rather annoying. Anyone else find the INIT button in a position that is very easy to hit by accident ? It is putting me off using the synth somewhat, especially frustrating when trying to program your own sound as you might imagine.
Is there an INIT undo? Cause there should be if it has to stay in that position on the GUI. Thanks

Yes, I was fiddling with GUI controls and of course if I want to load one of my own pre made presets which I save in another folder. Maybe it is just my fat fingers so to speak but just seems an oversight to essentially have a reset button next to menu button in identical style.

Yesterday I accidentally hit "init" a couple of times while in process of making new presets. It was very annoying. It would be great to have this "init" in a drop down menu selection.

It is very easy to do when navigating at speed. My work round was to save my project as suffix "X" and reopen a previous project version so I could see what preset I was using (A pad for a simple backing for my Mrs. to sing over). Then reload project "X" and see the preset was then called "098 INIT" in the drop down, not exactly helpful. Then refresh the factory bank and select the one I needed.

I also second that a filter drive would be nice as has been mentioned. Something that gives the existing filters more edge when you need it.
They sound good but can sound a little too polite/gentle and when you need some grit it is not really there.
I just tried some X comp and that seems to get some way to where I was "auralizing" but a drive/overload/grit control would be useful.
I would also like smoother envelope controls, they seem a bit touchy to me. Greater resolution would be helpful on the sliders as that is the only feedback you have against what you are hearing. And overall greater tightness/responsiveness on the envelopes would be good. They work but some other synths have super tight stable envelopes and I am missing them a little.
Spire is a synth that seems to growing on me, it was not immediately blowing me away but as I have stuck with it has some features and a tone and way of filling the stereo width in a unique and comprehensively programmable way (what with Unison voices/spread- wide- and effects width options). Unique tends to be good as I often have those "I know what will fit in that spot !" moments.
I am working on a track now and will see how I can get the sounds to bed into the mix as the track proceeds. It is fun to use and seems very stable and has a very good looking GUI.
There is still risk IMO to hit INIT by pure accident when going for a preset save after you have made something.

I do it all the time, but there is an "undo" in the menu that takes you back.

That will come in handy, though I am just starting to become enough used to the GUI to go slow when I am going to save. Which you tend to do in haste as you don't want to lose your killer new sound.
