So basically, anyone who gives a good review must be taking a back hander.... based on no evidence whatsoever.

When it comes to CM or those kind of mags, it seems that everybody believes that without doubt though. So why is that?

I have hardly seen any audio demos posted... Haven't had time to demo the synth but would love to hear some good audio!

Well, there are audio examples on youtube that I'm checking out and it sounds like a moog filter to me. The only way I would be able to tell them apart is if I had a side by side comparison. The oscillators sound a little "bright" in the saw department, but I would really need an in room test to tell the difference. It certainly covers the job of a moog in a recording and then some I'd say.

Just pull up an audio demo of a hardware Model D.....they'll be the same.

But seriously I encourage everyone to try the demo. That's the only way you can get a real feel for it's character.

There's that word 'seems' again....

I would say, CM et al are never taken seriously by anyone who is serious about music. Its aimed at beginners who 'want to sound like This Artist' without putting any effort in...

If they get paid to give good reviews, they must be loaded. I cant remember the last time a synth got under 8/10.... of course, nobody pays them to do that tho.

Back to Legend.... anyone here got a MM sitting there to compare it too?

Do you want to make an issue out of this?

Whenever i post a message in a thread, that this or that plug got a 9 or 10 out of 10 in CM, the next post is that that is just bullshit, or hype, because one can't believe those guys to not be influenced.

It pisses me off, because those guys are pros, and got insight.

Anyone can say, that the review is bullshit, but it's not the ultimate truth. Only an opinion.
Maybe the reviewer likes the plug and the KvR member doesn't. People are different.
9 out of 10 in review usually means, that the product does its job quite good - but "good" is relative for different people.

"It doesn't have the right filter

" and so on.

When I agree with a review, probably I won't write anything. Probably many people won't. Review is good, plugin is good, what to write?
And then You will only see the dissatisfied ones

The kind of feedback I got in this thread, goes to show that is not allowed

If somebody can't even use the search function at KVR to search up and find the big thread about this plug that was posted in just a week ago, I am not sure how much I trust their review of a plug. It's all about tech-saviness aint it.

The search engine here is far from perfect.
Anyway, to me it seems

that Mr/Ms Sendy is happy with his/her new toy. Good for him/her.
I can download the demo and check, if it's good plug for me. What's the problem? I can have my own opinion.

Opinion about the plug, mind You, not about Mr/Ms Sendy and his/her motives, besides his/her sheer joy.

Probably this is the reason of said feedback.
