Or any additional non-audio files like artworks. I see that Loop de la crème are able to include a zip file into their download (a zip file containing the sound library inside the zip file you download on bandcamp with the music and artwork). I can't seem to find where I can upload zip and jpg...

When you are editing an Album, there is a dialog to add miscellaneous files that are included whenever someone downloads the album as a whole.

For some reasons it doesn't accept zip files. I've contacted Bandcamp about this, I'll update the thread when I'll got an answer.funky lime wrote:When you are editing an Album, there is a dialog to add miscellaneous files that are included whenever someone downloads the album as a whole.

I had the same problem. Archive files are not supported, seems to be their policy. I would like to know how LDLC managed it.

Indeed, I've asked him the question by email. Here is his reply:Zombie Queen wrote:I had the same problem. Archive files are not supported, seems to be their policy. I would like to know how LDLC managed it.
It could be a pro account feature now...I've been doing this for over two years, it might be a feature that was allowed then and is no more available for new users. It is not a Pro account thing. Please contact the bandcamp crew for more information.

There's no mention it's a pro feature, googled for this, and people were saying they made this to prevent people using Bandcamp as file sharing service.

That's what I thought... now, I have to upload my library file by file because of this! Damn pirate!Zombie Queen wrote:There's no mention it's a pro feature, googled for this, and people were saying they made this to prevent people using Bandcamp as file sharing service.

What if you change the extension to .zipx and tell users to rename the file?

If you write the Bandcamp support and ask nicely, they can unlock this for you.

Yeah, but it's too limited for sample distribution. I think it's around 150megs if I remember well.Zombie Queen wrote:If you write the Bandcamp support and ask nicely, they can unlock this for you.

After you make $50 in sales it grows up to 300 MB. Sure, Bandcamp is not a service made for sample distribution. As a little extra to music production, it suits me.

Not bad. I'll upload some small sample pack there then. My music sells, very in ultra small amounts compared to my sample libraries.Zombie Queen wrote:After you make $50 in sales it grows up to 300 MB. Sorry for resurrecting an old thread, but, does anyone know if this is still the case in 2016?Zombie Queen wrote:If you write the Bandcamp support and ask nicely, they can unlock this for you.
