Hahaha - it was mad in the end. I was so into it that I've made a mistake bidding for Geist with only $5 increment and was able to correct myself in the last seconds

I hope I did it right (and just before Creepr

).

Thank you so much! Such an awesome experience, so well organized, and for charity! That was a pretty hair-raising last minute - all of a sudden the site like broke and kept denying my submission. Glad it got through. Thank you Luftrum for this, truly appreciative of the whole experience.

hmm, and yes, the "Submit" button didn't always post right away for me either, like for this one
But we already got a fair warning in advance to not expect flawless reactions during the very latest minutes, so that was to be expected, I think.

Big props to Luftrum and all the contributors! Already looking forward to next time.

Sorry to hear that but is a function on KvR message board that usually didn't harm but you must take it into account when you post in the last minutes in this kind of thread.

I understand this, but I came on deliberately earlier than the end of the auction but the forum was getting hit by bids so fast that you surely can't snipe because you can't keep up with bids... plus I wasn't sniping as some of my bids were significantly higher than the winning bids

I've been on this forum for years and have participated in Luftrum's charity auction from the start but have never come across this message before. I'm a bit peeved to be honest.

Oh well, if any of the devs are feeling particularly generous and want to donate other prizes, my bids still stand

Last minute sniping is ok according to rules, but knowing this could happen would of course feel more of fair game than a RPG boss fight.
