Hi Attila - firstly, congrats on the release..! Saw the announcement and went and downloaded...

I thought I would be doing a straightforward update of a working v3.02 installation to v3.1 but it wanted to create a new directory (with a 'v3' at the end). Seemed to go ok, but the app will not launch - a message pops up saying 'AVRT.dll' missing - a reinstall may help (or somesuch).

I also tried updating the original v3.02 installation (at C:\Program files\Rapid Composer). No good.

Uninstalled everything, started again from a v3.0 install, then updated that to v3.02 - its back working; I'll leave v3.1 for now until I read further from you or others experiences. Interestingly, I also did a complete system search for this 'AVRT.dll' on my now working v3.02 RC install - and it didn't find anything...

Bob

(PS:- the 64bit Win10 system in my sig will wait for this update also)

Hi Bob,

Windows XP is not supported since v3.0 :(
AVRT.dll is needed because of WASAPI audio support in v3.1, which first appeared in Vista.

Attila

Ah..! Thanks Attila - so sorry to have troubled you; ok, no worries - its kind of an 'experimental/testing' environment anyway... :-)

Right, so I'll update the 64bit machine soon.

Cheers,
Bob
