Hope you are doing good!! Just a general question. . How do you guys afford to buy so many new plugins? How do you raise the money? What Is $100-$200 worth in your life of responsibilies and bills and monthly expenses? What is your driving force? GAS? Commercial exploits or production projects?
So many new plugins, money to burn? How do you guys afford it?

GAS of course

Edit: But hey, it's a damn sight less expensive than Euro-rack GAS

I think it's important to keep in mind that everyone doesn't buy every product, but as a whole, enough people buy enough that eventually someone will have any given product.

Its pretty simple. Demo the f**k out of anything new to make sure it will actually add something you really want/need to your current set up before you even think about buying it.
You dont need much really, but companies like to make you think you need everything. Total crap.
Just dont fall for the hype and you'll be fine.

Second hand licence....I never paid more than 99$ for a plugin .How do you guys afford it?
Gas is something terrible , the only things you can do to break this infernal spiral is to understand you don't use (so you don't need) everything you have.

A couple days a week I used to have a beer at the pub. I decided to spend my beer money on plugins for 3 years. I now have all I need, so I am having a beer as I write this.

Enough money for plugins, no time for music making.
