Where do get comprehesive CD collection of sound effects (like bells, zaps) for cheerleading music

This year, I started to do the music for my daughter's cheerleading competition squad.
I used Sonar to mix songs and got my sound effects mostly from Native Instruments Komplete.
I'd rather just load wav files, then use up processor power with multiple synths just for sound effects.

It was a challenge to find exactly what was requested of me.
I would love to find a comprehensive CD of all the sound effects I would ever need for this.
For example, bells, dings, buzzes, zaps, "wooshes", and other sounds to sync up to cheerleading stunts.
We're not talking nature and birds chirping, but rather obnoxious stuff, actually.
But that's what they want.

Any suggestions?

Strictly speaking, this would be better in the samples forum, as its about effect samples, not about effect plugins. You could maybe add a moderator to move it so it gets a more appropriate audience.

Ive never seen anything specifically for cheerleading, too specific a niche that, but those types of sounds fit well within the usual range of sound effects aimed at multimedia and film/TV production, so I'll punt you at a recent post I made to someone else, which has a list of a few places which provide a very wide range of sample sets....

maybe add the word 'foley' to your searches, too.

certainly worth any computer musician's cash to purchase one of those little portable digital recorders (tascam or whatever manufacturer). i assumed they were silly junk for years until playing around with one someone had the went and bought one the next day. might be cool to use the school's own bell and so on. plus: basically limitless source of sound effects.
