Might be worth a try to contact PayPal (next year?) to ask if they could at least lower the fees because it's a charity ?!?

I already tried, talked on phone with PayPal two years ago but the answer was that since my PayPal account wasn't a non-profit organisation then they wouldn't waive the fee. But when that is said, that's the cost we must deal with for running this charity and it's low compared to any alternative...

Quick Status:

All funds are now received, every single penny. All companies are contacted too. Funds are now securely withdrawn to my bank account and I am awaiting the final transaction from PayPal then I can initiate the transfer to Save the Children. Below is the final calculation which is also added on page 1. Next year there will be an option for all winners to donate an extra 4% on top of their total, to make up for the PayPal fees - this will be a volunteer and free donation of course but I hope it will save some of the fees. The final calculation below.

It is an excellent result IMO and I'm happy really for the outcome. Thank you Luftrum and Big thank you for the guys that contacted the various companies (really without them, the amount wouldn't be that good). Of course the a special thank you for the developers and companies that donated their products to this noble cause and made it possible to gather this money

I had also some challenges in the 2nd hand charity (especially with iLok items). Next year I suggest to make it differently regarding the fees and how the contributors handle it. So, I hope everything will be smoother and clearer from the beginning. This year I started without a previous plan, but next year I will be in contact with Luftrum before the event takes place

Still, the problem with Akai software haven't been solved. They sent me a unlocking code, but it didn't work.

I would say there's nothing to be concerned about KV331's reliability. I won the Everything bundle during last year auction, then I won a contest they also organized last year and I always had an answer from Bulent.
