I found that there is a function in Studio One called Note FX, which seems very interesting.

I was wondering what the equivalent would be in the other major DAW's, and which is the most powerful / unique?

Logic f.e. has some MIDI FX too and you can buy some third party MIDI FX also like from Xfer.
I thought every DAW has this by now.
You can arpeggiate, modifiy, modulate etc....
You also can load several of these per track. Logic also has a scripter for writing your own MIDI FX.....if i just know how to do that.
Indeed, Logic has all the ones in this video and a lot more.

These are just MIDI FX and many hosts have them. Besides Logic which is mentioned above, Cubase has loads of them, along with their Logical Editor (and Transformer, for real-time), where you can program your own.
I know that most hosts have them, but I doubt anyone has more powerful implementations than Cubase and Logic. Studio One needed them and it was great to see them, but they need to continue developing in that area. It is a great start though.
