Hi all
Didn't get any answer in the DAWs section so I wish some could help here
My need is to let my Xkey record the poly aftertouch message without any filter while playing.
I've tried some DAWs , that's Reaper, Tracktion, FLStudio but, while Reaper deliberately filters the key pressure message, Tracktion is prone to crash (while I do support their one-window workflow), and FLStudio is a bit confusing UI wise, for me at least.
I wanted to try Music Creator but I seem I cannot find any evaluation copy, and the big ones (Cubase, Sonar) sound a bit overkill to me, not counting that I still don't know wheter they support poly aftertouch or not.
Fact is I don't want to use an editor after I've recorded, I want to record my performance as it is but with no poly aftertouch filtering.
Anybody can give me any advice?
Thx
m

You could always demo Sonar, I think music creator supports it as well.
In any event, you should probably be able to grab music creator from
steam or somewhere for probably $20 bucks, during the up-coming Black Friday
or X-mas sales.
If it were me, I would probably go for Sonar Artist over music creator though.
You should be able to get that for $50 bucks or so, fairly soon here.
