Could we get Rhino for OSX Mac...Or do some presets for Zebra will Ya...

Hints on my next bank? That's no real seceret. Just check out the 2.0 factory bank for a few examples from "Textures". The bank will be vector inspired with a new wave set.

Actually, with Daniel nailing down pretty much every type of sound out there, there's no point for me to code anything new :-)
Thanks Daniel.

Just purchased Rhino2 some days ago and today I have purchased the presets bundle.

Im very impressed in general with the hi-guality and deep of the sound programing. Really very good sounds, in particular the morpheus and Bnb2.

The new bank of waveforms increases very well the sound palette.

Definitely the moog bank is in my "coming soon" list.

Have you plans to make some LA/Wavestation big banks? That will be very welcome, and im sure it will open a very interesting door that will attract other users who maybe have not very much interest in the fm sound or maybe prefer a more hardware workstation sound (its not a lot of people waiting for a great workstation emulation in software?).
With "your hands" that will sound amazing, im sure,

The Rhino engine can do that and much more. :D

Greetings.

'Tick is always looking for ways to improve Rhino and it's flexability is sure to increase.

Upon hearing Rhino's beta I knew it had great potential to replace my expensive hardware workstation. I wanted something more flexible than a ROMpler and Halion didn't cut it, either. My need was filled perfectly by Rhino, which is a joy to program for synthheads like myself.

Suggestions for new sounds are always welcome and the wavestation/LA area is where "Textures" is heading. However, it's my intention to not just copy the old sounds but to improve upon that foundation and build something new. Classic Moog, for example, nods to the past but then takes it into the future by doing sounds that old equipment could not have done.

More sounds are coming...

I knew these were going to be good but I was still blown away by these sounds :D I knew Rhino could "do" analogue but I never realised ( )it could do it this well. My advice (for what it's worth  ) to anyone sitting on the fence about buying Rhino2 and any of Daniel's banks is don't waste any more time and burn some plastic :D It's becoming a cliche to say this about VSTi's but, truly, this could be the only synth you'll ever need, and reverse-engineering Daniel's patches is like a master class in sound engineering. Wow, gushy...

After buying Daniel's Classic Moog Banks I now question my need for the Arturia Mini-Moog. May still get Ohmforce/GMedia's Mini Monster when it comes out, but CM will hold me for a long while.
(And then some!)

Hi Daniel,
I wanted something more flexible than a ROMpler and Halion didn't cut it, either.
i see also that vision of Rhino, it has a synth engine capable to invade perfectly the rompler/workstation area and expand very much the beautiful sounds it can do already.
Suggestions for new sounds are always welcome and the wavestation/LA area is where "Textures" is heading.
Thats great!. I would vote for more "musical patches" (in the sense of a defined tonal and a bit less abstract sound). Im not saying that the actual Rhino patches are not great, but it seems to me that are mainly focused to the atmospheric/ambient/fx sounds.

I can suggest to sample also some bell sounds? the fm bell for me tends to sound always like... well... "fm bell", the WS/LA synths are know to have many bell samples 8)

After some days playing your bnb, bnb2 and morpheus patches Im now even more impressed. That morph sliders make oustanding and radical but musical variations in the sound, I will look very much on that new textures patch with all those deep programing you can do.

I think that Im ready to purchase that moog bank NOW.

Thanks for your great work.

Yeah...this bank is great and should put to rest about rhino not being able to do classic on edge sounds. I really liked the idea of keeping the moog sound, but being able to modernize it, like steo imaging and more. This bank is a must have for Rhino owners, and may be in itself a reason to get on board Rhino!

Now...makes me want to do another Rhino bank!

I bought the Morpheus set when it first came out. As soon as I got around to listening to the MP3 clips of the Moog set I was hooked. My order for the Moog set and BnB2 just went through. But, Daniel, don't consider this a purchase. Consider it a donation towards that Oberheim SEM. After hearing the Moog based patches I really, really, really, really want you to get an SEM and work your magic.

Really. :D

Robert, I sent out some requests for prices on Oberheim gear but have yet to hear a reply. I can't spend out more than I'll make off a bank so finding a good deal is essential. Perhaps I'll find somebody locally I can rent one from. My progress will be posted.

Just got Classic Moog. Great work. Just one ? though. v1.01 is available. What does it fix and if there are future updates how do we find out?

Thanks

Post

V1.01 should be what everybody purchased, even if it said 1.0 it was really 1.01. I uploaded an almost finished version to shareit a week early so it could be easily shared with my beta testers. Once 1.01 was properly placed the bank was released but the version number was never changed until later.

If there was an update I'd send everyone an email through shareit with instructions.

Right now, yes, just one Moog release, but who knows whats beyond "Textures"...

Too bad you do not live around Orlando. There is a nice synth museum there. I hear you can reserve time and sample the instruments. :)
