Guys,
Thinking about having Black Lion Audio modify my Apollo Twin Duo USB (Windows) audio interface to add the Optical Out connector so the unit would have Optical In and Out....which in my mind would allow me to use the Apollo with the ES-3 and ES-6 so Reaktor and my modular gear could talk to one another.
Anyone have any thoughts about this? Thanks.

The question is whether that would add ADAT or optical SPDIF.

Turns out that Black Lion cannot modify this unit. So I guess it's time to get a Motu or wait for the ES-8....but how long until it's ready for Windows?

I can't give you a firm date for that. If the Mac release goes well, the Windows driver should follow reasonably soon afterwards.

I'm trying my best to patiently wait and not pester you Os as I'm well aware you are not withholding progress reports on the ES-8 for Windows out of some strange malice, but every day I turn on this rack to my left I dream of the day it can talk with Bitwig and Reaktor. Any hint of a timeline for the Windows drivers, this year maybe?

Is nearly 30 days since since my last inquiry too soon to ask for an update on the Windows version of the ES-8?
