Waves Abbey Road...Audio A/Bs...ANYONE???

I can't believe that there isn't one video up on YouTube doing an A/B (dry/wet) comparison with the new Waves Abbey Road. It's so rare that I get excited about an FX plugin (can count 'em on one hand) but you'd think they'd let you hear what this thing can do. Two videos, apparently before it was even released, and nothing but talk. Boggles my mind that they wouldn't let people hear what it sounds like.
So does anybody know where I can find an A/B video or even audio?

I just want to know if the dust samples are random or if theyre synced(?) with the material that is being played.

I didn't find any audio demo online, but you can try the fully functional 14 days demo that is downloadable on wavws site yet. I tried it and, well, it sounds very good to me.

I understand that I can download the demo. I want to hear what it actually does to a recording before I waste my time with it. If a company that big can't put out a simple 2 minute A/B demo, I can't be bothered downloading their product.Feng wrote:I didn't find any audio demo online, but you can try the fully functional 14 days demo that is downloadable on wavws site yet. I like it as well. In fact, I've never thought much about Kramer Tape, but I like it more with vinyl. BTW: I really haven't listened to the dust and clicks critically, I don't think that's what's interesting about this. I want my masters to sound like a brand new record, not an old one.

If you haven't found any yet, check Gearslutz New Product Alert section on this. At least one user made a vid showing it in action.

This is a decent walkthrough.
I'm not really interested in the noise and crackle effects - but more the sound it has on a mix/master (like Slate's VTM).
Worth a demo, from this vid I'd say.

from a creative and producer standpoint, this could/would be a great plugin to create unique original drum breaks and then give them that dusty LP sound. Vinyl has always had a texture to the sound it produces. That is one of the main reasons I use drums breaks from vinyl like I do. This plugin will for sure contribute to the creative side of the process.

I bought it instantly because of that screenshot. Actually I find it so beautiful I'm thinking about buying another copy for the spare bedroom.hivkorn wrote:i was searching for audio exemple too ! Hey man, thanks for this. Well, I must be going deaf because outside of the tape stop and the noise and crackle, I didn't hear any noticeable differences with all that knob turning. Is it just me or is this thing really subtle?Robmobius wrote:This is a decent walkthrough.

It does seem pretty subtle alright. On the material he uses it does give a little more pleasant tone, from what I can hear (but nothing ground breaking).
I'd need to have a decent listen to it with monitors. Looks like it's worth a demo though.
