I'll transmit this to them, in case the information was lost somewhere in the webspaze.

Seems Native Instruments has presented me with a download product that doesn't allow me to download it. Been bouncing emails back and forth trying to find a work around but so far, their most workable suggestion is my least desired. That is, they tell me they want to contact Luftrum and have my bid refunded. This means a loss to the charity, but I equally don't want to have to lose out by buying a product I can never use. :(
Not sure what can be done at this point to make this a win-win for all concerned here. :?
I don't understand, why can't you download it?

Hey, thank you!

I am sure it's just missed communication, not anything else. Very generous of Xils and all of the other companies contributing to this cause.

Apparently, they've implemented a new system which only installs through their access manager. No download option any more. This combined with them only allowing me to use my MIFI provider and not my satellite provider which limits me to only 5GB a month for those installs... AND the fact it is a 384GB file that this manger would make me do twice to get it on both machines... makes it all far too prohibitive by cost and/or time.
The simplest solution is for them to send me the boxed version, which they say they can't won't do. The next work-around was for them to have a direct download so I could download to a drive through a business I do IT work for that is the same provider as my MIFI. But there is no direct download option in my account for this product (there is for almost all the other products in my account). Their last suggestion is to submit to the charity for a refund.
Ouch, that s*cks ofc :/ I checked the item you won, Komplete 11 Ultimate. If I remember correctly, even if you could convince them to send you the installation files on a disk, not everything is on there either. The installation software still needs to download a lot.

Thanks for the info. I think I'm being forced into my only option being a bid refund then. This really does suck. :(
This is only how I remember it, I'm not 100 % sure. Let me check the disk...

Edit: Looks like the disk has 328 GB of data. So I might be everything, except updates.

Maybe if you suggest to pay for the shipping and the cost of the materials, they would agree to send you the box.

Luftrum has already donated the money as I know, so the best solution IMO is trying to reach a deal with them.
Using: Cubase Pro 15, Reason 13, Tascam US-4x4HR, MODX6, DM12D, LaunchKey 49, Yamaha guitar(Pacifica 612v) and bass (BB234) and some virtual instruments and synths.
