Hi, I am still evaluating the product. I notice if I pick a GM Midi insrument, I get no sound. If I pick a sound font instrument, it works fine.
Midi is operating well is all other music programs such as my DAW. I have the sound set to my audio interface, and it plays the test sound. What am I missing?

Hi Tiger,
sound is generated for soundfonts or VSTi plug-ins only.
When you use the "General MIDI" instrument, only MIDI events are sent to the MIDI output, no audio is generated. Please use "General MIDI" when you host your virtual instrument in a DAW (using a virtual MIDI cable on PC, or the built-in virtual MIDI output on OS X), or when you have a hardware synth module.
If you'd like to hear General MIDI sounds, you can use the included GeneralUser GS soundfont.
Thanks,
Attila
