Who says i blindly trust everyone on the net?
I am sure though that you set Bitdefender to the highest level or detection, and then, it's no wonder that it notoriously sends out false positives. It's really not that difficult, scan the URL with an online scanner. If 2 or 3 out of 50 scanners detect something, it is surely a false alarm. But, hey, keep on trusting your antivirus, i won't hinder you. I rather trust common sense than something which is assured to give flase alarms if you set it to high level of detection.

Wrong, it's set to default. One reason I use Bitdefender is that it is not prone to false positives. If someone has to put a disclaimer on their site about AV warnings then there is a problem. It's not up to me to White List other people's sites and or software.chk071 wrote: I am sure though that you set Bitdefender to the highest level or detection, and then, it's no wonder that it notoriously sends out false positives.
But like I said if you're so desperate for freeware go for it..........

It's sometimes really hard for devs to avoid installers being detected by antivirus'. That's not the fault of the devs though, rather the sensitive detection of the antivirus'.
Anyway, up to you of course.

But that is kind of OT, because this thread is about the plugins and not the internet pageTeksonik wrote:You two sisters at it again ? I'm just providing a public service and letting everyone know about the warning.
Did you get a "false" positive for the plugs as well ?
I mean you need to download and check out the plugs, otherwise you stating incorrect infoTeksonik wrote:But like I said if you're so desperate for freeware go for it..........

Given modern antivirus softwares use heuristics to flag unkown/new viruses, and given the huge number of viruses out there, it's impossible to have zero false positives. So i order to reduce them, the best way is to send what you think is false positives to the antivirus editors so that they can update their whitelist database.Teksonik wrote: Does any other freeware site kick up AV warnings ? No so take that into consideration. Bitdefender is consistently rated at the top of Security Suites which is why I use it.....
But if you two sisters are so desperate for freeware go for it......I am not.
It's good that a tool like VirusTotal exists to help us make up our minds.

I'm not the author, but perhaps just post your questions here, or try filling the Contact form on his site?zenvoxpop wrote:Is the author of these plugs around here?, I have some quick questions for him...

Good idea, just did that.
I thinks it's a shame people are no talking more about this plugins. I think that the slax (their la2a) sounds better+looks prettier than let's say cakewalk ca2a, IMHO.weird.
