Still listen to that "Camilla" track!
What I would like to know, is more about those guys, since all I have is an old Vinil album. And I can't even play it. Lucky me I converted it to MP3 before I lost my player...
Best Regards, WilliamK
Yeah, me too! But I never got the whole album, still need to find a good store for "old" stuff.ianweb123 wrote:My favorite.. Paranoimia (86) Gotta love that intro
The majority of their early stuff was Fairlight CMI with a whole lot of use of its Step recording feature.. but I suppose no great suprise there though!Sielsynth wrote:If anybody knows their equipment list please post.
Well you're in luck if you can find it since Camilla and Paranoimia are both on the In Visible Silence album.ianweb123 wrote:

The whole In Visible Silence album is ace... Still one of my faves..and the Paranoimia video with that Max Headroom (I think) character was completely coolianweb123 wrote:My favorite.. Paranoimia (86) Gotta love that intro
[EDIT] ... should just qualify that by saying that I only like the version without Max Headroom.
And I wonder if the 'drip' sound was a concious lift from the Godley & Creme Consequences track 'The Flood'. I wonder if they were 10cc fans as I am sure they used the 'Big Boys Don't cry' sample from 'I'm not in love', also..
I got the impression that G&C did the history mix album when they were more interested in their video stuff, and that they were 'mucking about' with the concept of sampling and remixing.. but Consequences remains one of my all time favorite albums.. at the time I used to soak up any inside info on the recording process so the included book was manna from heaven..Jazz Franco wrote:As for G&C: have a look here
