How do you lose them off the bottom, are they patches made by other people or ones you have created yourself ?fluffy_little_something wrote:Thanks for the VST window escape fix for the top, at the bottom they can still get lost, though

Huh?! I was talking about VST windows disappearing and becoming inaccessible when pulling them to the very bottom of the screen.bibz1st wrote:How do you lose them off the bottom, are they patches made by other people or ones you have created yourself ?fluffy_little_something wrote:Thanks for the VST window escape fix for the top, at the bottom they can still get lost, though

I was thinking this,
if a patch is made by someone that uses a large screen and maybe moves the Polysynth window, for example, to the bottom of their screen, then shares it with someone else who uses a smaller screen that might be the cause
But if its just VST windows then I don't know

I also have the same question as bibz1st: How can you loose these windows?fluffy_little_something wrote:Huh?! That situation is covered. In such case MuLab / MUX will make sure the window is pulled inside the visible screen area.bibz1st wrote:I was thinking this,

Well, take any VST window, grab its title bar and drag it as far south as you can in one swift motion. It is no longer on the screen.mutools wrote:I also have the same question as bibz1st: How can you loose these windows?fluffy_little_something wrote:Huh?! Why do you put that window almost off screen? It's your choice, right? Anyway, as mentioned in the previous post: If a window gets off screen, then its position will be auto reset upon opening it the next time. So eventually reopen that editor window to reset it.

Well, I use plugins with huge GUI's so I want to get as much of them off the screen sometimes so that I can see the Mulab racks and stuff.
Not sure what you mean. When I click the little arrow in the rack, the window does not reappear.

Maybe you have to click the little arrow twice: Once to close the (invisible) window, once to reopen it. Does that work? It works here.

Nope. As I click the arrow repeatedly, the only thing that happens is that the fonts of the Mulab title bar switch back and forth between bright and shadowy.

Or let me know a step by step how to repeat this, starting from a new project, using the Basic Synth editor window.

Nah, I sure won't make any videos.
With Mulab's own basic synth the little arrow actually does make that window reappear in the center, but not with VST windows.
