Thanks for the quick response. Are there other differences between these versions? The CobaltLargeUI.dll is v1.5.1, Cobalt.dll says v1.0.3

I've had Cobalt for many years now but had pretty much forgotten it but I've had a play today and now I remember how wonderful she sounds. Thanks Leslie Sanford for your great plugins !

Oh and don't forget his fantastic Reverb which he set free as well. It goes perfectly with Cobalt.

Read out in cobalt is 13000Hz ..Kbd tracking is off

Is it just me or does this synth have a totally unique character?

Try as i might, i honestly cant think of a single other synth that has this kind of 'flavor' to the sound. Its decidedly digital, no doubt about that, but there is something to it that makes it very different from other digitals, kind of hard to put into words but i must say i find it extremely pleasant.

Impressive, and a keeper for sure.

Drat. Looks like that zip file I found was for an older version. I've uploaded a new 32 bit version for the small UI. However, it was freshly compiled on a Windows 64 machine this morning (since I can't seem to find the latest 32 bit version for the small UI) with the platform set to Win32 (instead of x64). As a result, it may not work on Windows 32, I don't know, but I'll keep my fingers crossed. You can try it here:

Are you testing with noise?

The reason I ask is that the waveforms were generated mipmapped fashion, and depending on the note you're playing may not have frequency content up that high. Also, I'm not sure how much faith to put into the cutoff frequency reading. It was a fairly naïve filter I grabbed off a DSP site.

EDIT: I just saw the graphic. I see what you're saying, the resonant peak is off. Yeah, it's that naïve filter.

I wanted to say the same thing, his reverb is simply awesome, it was also set free last year in November.

Fantastic....I bought this back in the day, and loved the sound. Great to see a 64 bit version. There is another soundbank from Togeo Studios in the Patches / Presets Vault for download here on KVR too.

Something's wrong.

The readout is correct when you set keytrack to 100% and play note F5 (FM env level zero).

Maybe it would be better not to show a Hz value but a level (0-1) like the resonance knob is already doing.

I agree. One of the best, if not THE best free reverb around
