That acid was fat and smooth, nice portamento. Looks ike it has some sonic update as far as youtube audio can give away.

Seems like feature overkill. I will have to check the demo because I was hoping for a better sound rather than all those new features, which won't help much if the sound is still the same.

Rob said in the livestream that the sound engine has been improved, so, it's likely to sound different.

As i don't know exactly how version 1 sounded, i can't really say if there is a vast difference though. Sounded good in the livestream, not sure if i'd call it "excellent", but surely quite nice. Nothing beats fiddling it yourself anyway though.

Hard to tell on YT but P2 sounds a lot better than P1, which is way past its sell by date if compared to any of the relatively recent offerings by the main devs. That being said another nice synth with not a lot of new things added to set it apart from the crowd. Demoing is the only way to tell ultimately.

Yeah, couldn't have said that any better. It doesn't seem to be a game changer in terms of features, but then, if the sound is right, it doesn't have to be.
