Couldn't see the online streaming. Time difference
But, from the few minutes Rob Papen started explaining about Predator 2, I thought, wow! This will be from my main synths sure!
Can't wait to have it!

I think many people would be surprised by what you can do with the original Predator. Regardez

I'm looking forward to having a play on the new version. Any info on compatibility with patches from the original version?

Well, as a Blue II owner, I wasn't blown away by the original Predator and while the new one sounds fine, it doesn't really excite me either. So I'll be passing on it as well.

I'll be doing the upgrade from Predator 1. Looks like there will be some nice new sound design possibilities. I've always liked the sound of Predator.

Looks like a very nice UI upgrade, really like that I can now search by patch type, I hope all the old patches are tagged. Some nice new features as well. I'll be upgrading for sure, maybe not right now though, but relatively soon. (On the explorer 3 package atm)

Never was a fan of Predator 1 sound, it was kind of dull, lifeless a bit. But wow, Predator 2 sounds really good.

I wasn't that bowled over with predator 1 at first, but it has really grown on me lately, especially when thrown through a decent analog emulating compressor.
I was expecting RP to chase the analog sound crown, but it seems more like they've moved into subtractive/additive hybrid with predator 2 - which looks like it might be more useful for additive than blade is for me.

This is a cool update to predator.
On the other hand I still miss some features that are introduced in the most hyped synths like Zebra or Omni,
for example locking parameters / modules on the synth.
But since this feature is not introduced in any of the RP synths, I say this is OK.
(anyway, the locking feature in zebra should be improved too)

i dont like RP vsts much but got the whole explorer 3 suite for cheap!
just saw the video and the sounds are unique sounding, i dunno if the GUI is really up t o date now cause RP gui's are always too user unfriendly, tooo old school and thin in sound vsts, i also think predator 1 is nice but doesnt stand the test of time, albino3 however is different but clumsy gui with too much clicking.
predator 2 reminds me of Roland sounds, can it be? some old game soundtracks remind me of predator 2
