Hello group, it has been about one hour since my last purchase. I would like to promise, but there will be one more purchase tomorrow. I feel so dirty, I've been so disciplined all year long and then Focusrite and Eventide teamed up to give me cool things and those cool things triggered my GAS. The first plugin was free, the next plugin cost only one dollar, and then it all went to hell after that.

I promise, after Monday, no more gear (until the deepmind 12 is available, at any rate).

I'm entering Eurorack mode... so I promise I will not buy more gear except for modules, cables, etc.

Because I also have to pay rent and stuff.

Technically, it's all still one synthesizer, so it doesn't count if you keep buying more modules.

Oh crap, I did.

First was the innocuous little "9 buck for a meter" thing.....fell for that.

Then, Toontrack is having a nice sale on ezx's, I've been wanting "progessive" for a long time. Got that.

Then for some f**king reason, I decided that "Lush 101" was necessary because I've always wanted it and it's 49 bucks. Got that.

Now we're at a 100 bucks roughly.

Oh, and then there is the new "repeater" from d16 that is lovely. I'll wait for the demo to expire maybe......maybe.

Then there is the wonderful new reverb by fabfilter ... and vst hosts are not even my main squeeze

You got that SynthMaster Player thing for 9 bucks yet? (which is something I'm currently eyeing)

And then there is still the super awesome outstanding community type thingy-dingy "Plugimon" game thing that everyone is rambling about, yet don't want to share their findings. I mean... "It's a secret to everybody", no?

Oh don't worry - Black Friday is next week (25th Nov), closely followed by Cyber Monday. And just a couple of days later, the Christmas Holiday Sale Madness will kick off...

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to get back to building this one microphone adapter, or repairing this MIDI keyboard, or continue with that one beta test, checking out that one plugin demo, sign up for that one pre-order deal, ... ah... choices, GAS to fulfill, ... so much to do, so less time.

I told myself no more plugins, no more plugins, need to save up for a better audio interface and monitors, no more plugins, oh hey vocalizer pro on sale, I could use a vocoder.

And of course the order gets screwed up and I'm waiting on a response from jrrshop to actually get what I paid for. I'm hoping I learn a lesson here.
