Maybe because majority of working professionals in industry are using it.
Wrong.
OK, ALL working professionals are on the Mac.
Wrong. :P

Well, seriously, MacOS is a big market for artists of any kind, so it's definitely worth supporting Mac. No doubt about that. Especially when they had to wait so long for a 64-bit AU version of the plugin.

Lennard,

I see that you've added -

Activated machines: 0 (out of 2)
You can purchase additional machine activations here.

so basically, what happens if a computer breaks down and has to be reformatted? I lose an activation for good?

Post

No, you can deactivate the licence in your online account.

OK good to know!

"Negative phase issue fixed."
What was that even about? :)

Anyway, I remember that I sometimes ran out of envelopes when using both layers, which however is where the fun begins. Often it means using mod env 1 for filter a and mod env 2 for filter b, so there is none left for other things such as pitch. Hence a little suggestion: including one env in each layer like on my little MS Paint gui :hihi: It would be pre-routed to the filter, as indicated, but could also be used for other things via the matrix. This way there would be a third envelope without making the GUI any bigger.
With legacy patches, old mod env 1 settings would simply be interpreted as mod env a settings, and old mod env 2 settings as mod env settings respectively. Many patches use only layer a anyway, so legacy patches would even look the same.
Just a suggestion... :)

Thank You !

added a resizable GUI which is great - some of the middle sizes (like at 140%) seem a bit blurry...

No band limits, aliasing is the noise of freedom!

You can drag the GUI by the right lower corner to any size. In the sizes menu the bold font means that the images are actually designed for that size (usually 100 and/or 200%), so these will look sharpest. Sylenth1 will rescale the images to any other size (it always uses the highest available quality for rescaling).

For some skins (Oldskool and Thackeray) there are only 100% scale images available, so these skins may look a bit blurry when upscaling. Skins that have 200% images (Classic, Sylenth 3.0 and Kautschuck) will look a lot better at 140% for example.

The free rescaling is really nice, one doesn't have to choose between a GUI that is too big and one that is too small :hihi: Every plugin should do it that way...

Thanks Lennard!

btw, you have a type inside Sylenth1 -

it says "Licenced to:" in the GUI instead of "Licensed to" ;)

Post

Ah you're right, seems it's only on the 3.0 skin. Thanks for noticing, will fix it in the next update!
