...seems Rob Papen did - according to the credits Shaun Ellwood, who did graphics for a lot of big companies, did also the GUI for Predator...

Well, but this is Predator 2, I expected some bigger changes to the dark/red style of P1. I mean there's worse GUIs even on brand new synths (Rapid anyone?), but this is way too dark, no visual hints for the diffent sections, not really inspring. Guess you get the point.

If I take a window capture on the mac, I get:

default: 1134 x 836

big screen: 1497 x 1095

Ah,

The oversampling is gone, because everything is being oversampled 4x. I got this info from the 'helpdesk'.
The artifacts are not due to the lack of oversampling, but probably an issue with voicing at the filter level.

I'm unable to browse through categories, though (or can't figure it out). I have to click on each preset as opposed to using the arrows...when I use the arrows, it pulls from the introductory bank...but surely I'm missing something.

TOO - I still feel like an idiot when I try to save patches in any RP plugin...it's such a process, whereas other synths are sooooo easy to save presets. Can someone point me to an easy one-two-three step process of how to save patches in banks I've already created? I feel like it's this:

1. Save preset as
2. Go into the manager and copy the preset.
3. Open up the bank I want it to be in, then paste it.

Even then, I'm not positive it's working correctly...

Damn, the small one is very small for all those controls, and the big one does not fit on my screen, unless I change the resolution, which I can't because of my vision.

Thanks, looks like it won't fit on my laptop screen then :(

The new UI is, in my opinion, a downgrade.

I really liked the 1.6 UI, it was efficiently organized and attractive. I liked the option on the back to switch the text to white (instead of the default red, which I never liked).

The new UI is just harder to look at. Maybe some contrast changes will be enough to fix that, not sure yet. But I'd definitely take the previous UI over this.

Man, I'm just loving this synth. Lots of neat surprises -- I like the advanced chord tab. I'm even getting used to the UI...:) And the filter LFO...wild...

Another synth with a UI that I have to use the Magnifier to see. There really is no excuse for this in a new synth. Take Sylenth1 as an example to copy with its resizeable GUI.

Yeah..i love it as well. Deep, rich and full sound. Good mod section. Full fledged OSC's with good fm, pm, ring-m and more options. Deep and buttery filters......awesome stuff.

You know it has a large screen mode right ?

Has anybody been able to get Predator 2's Banks to show up in Prisma ? I have the feeling they may have to update Prisma to accommodate P2's new patch system.

You can of course call up P2's GUI from within Prisma and choose patches that way but it does get tiresome after awhile. :?

3 or 4 instances of Predator 2 layered together sound pretty awesome especially with Prisma's added FX etc...... :tu:

I'd like to see them expose the GUI to the users. That way it could be edited to one's liking and possibly new skins could be created. I noticed one of the patch banks is named Satya and he has done some great skins for DUNE 2 etc. I'd love to see what he could do for Predator 2. :)

I also reproduced this problem inside prisma:
Pred2 shows, but no banks/presets.
(And it killed Reaper :)
