Has anyone seen a price for Image Line Harmor around $60? I've been watching the deals since last week, but couldn't find a price quite that low. Prices I saw with extra discount codes were ($72 - $85). I saw someone on another forum post about buying Harmor for $62 during the BF sales, but I had no luck posting or PMing over there.

I want a good all-around reverb. What would you recommend? Mayhaps something from waves with the 30dollars code?

Forget the code with Waves. They really don't have a good all around reverb. Pheonix verb for $49 NFR is a good value for a straightforward high quality algorithmic reverb. LiquidSonic Reverberate 2 for $49 is an awesome convolution reverb. Lexicon LXP for about $66ish in the cart at JRR is decent. If you're on a budget MXP for about $33ish in the cart, also from JRR.

What is your DAW, because some actually come with decent all around reverbs?

I have Ableton Live Suite. i'd buy phoenixverb but it needs the ilok2 dongle right?

Yeah, ok, if you don't have iLok that knocks out the Phoenix and the Lexicons. Since you have Live, I'm personally not a fan of its reverb. But, you have a convolution reverb so I can't really recommend Reverberate 2 since the weakness in Live is its algorithmic reverb.

I think that Valhalla Vintage Verb is probably your best bet. Maybe someone else knows an alternative?

Mhh... i haven't really used PhoenixVerb myself, but, if it is like has been said, and it's very neutral, clean, and realistically sounding, then Vintage Verb should be quite the opposite, because that one is very coloured, and based on vintage reverbs, which shouldn't pose "top of the line" in terms of realism. I'd rather suggest VRoom then. Or something like TB-Reverb. I'm quite a newbie when it comes to reverbs, but, what i know is that they sound vastly different, and, my experience with Vintage Verb, which i owned for a couple of months is, that it's really hard to make it sound clean, and un coloured. Which was also basically the reason why i sold it, i just don't like so much colouration, and especially the colouration Vintage Verb did. Seemed a bit exaggerated, TBH. VRoom is quite the opposite. And almost a bit too clean. That's also why i don't quite get that some suggest Vintage Verb as an all in one solution. A real all in one solution would be to buy all Valhalla verbs. And then you're at something like $200, rather than $50 for one of the reverb, which gives you a specific use case. Or, maybe people just do other music than i do. I'm sure Vintage Verb is classy for something like classic prog rock, or likes.

Actually, I agree, but, he was asking for all around. Vintage verb is that. Lots of algorithms. Room is more transparent, but fewer algorithms.

But, you're right, all of the reverbs is a solution. In reality though, I think that most people could skip shimmer.

In any case, I really don't like the Live reverb so any of the valhalla reverbs is an upgrade.

Which Cubase? I think Revalance is pretty good. BTW: The Tonebooster's reverb is useful and I think a step up from Live's reverb. It comes with Track Essentials, so it's cheap enough.

I think the convolution in Reverberate is really special though, it's a great reverb. For Algo I liked the https://www.realtimeonly.com/reverbical.php which is on special and can do clean to coloured and even shimmer and has a really cool preset morph. Another one I like is AD Eos which is also by Sean (maybe pre Valhalla days) it's simple and easy to use and sounds great.

I like reverberate as well, but, it's still not an algorithmic verb. I realized while thinking about this though. I pretty much only really like algo verbs that are on iLok. It's hard for me to recommend something that isn't.

Which Cubase? I think Revalance is pretty good.

Yeah, meant Roomworks, and Reverence. I must admit though, that it's preference for Reverence really, it's not bad, but i simply don't dig the sound too much.
