msvs, can you fill us in fully now on number of authorisations per license?
we allow 3 working places/installations per user
Terrific!

I know a lot of people have said this already, but your input on this thread - openness with information and general good grace - has been second to none. I'll be there on launch day, and wish you every success with the synth.

If you're a proficient sound designer at least you are not limited by the lack of wavetable import and can design your own stuff without ever relying on future expansions. On the other hand, if you rely on presets, the expansions are made by some of the coolest guys in the industry.
I see a win-win-win pattern here.

Downside for the expansion packs is that you're forced to pay more for the extra drum kits, etc..when if all you want are the presets you still gotta pay up for all the extra stuff you don't want.

I hope there's a way to de-authorize/de-activate a license? Will a re-format/re-installation of the OS count as a new system?

So this isn't going to use eLicenser? How exactly will the licensing work, will it be serial/keyfile, or machine based (C/R)?

Just saying that importing your own samples is particularly well implemented into Avenger.
Full drag an drop functionality.
But of course if this is the one contained into the expansion that you really want...
Could add that Avenger does really have loads of them to start with.

plus official XP's are mostly more expensive than 3rd party... doesnt mean it's bad etc. but you could wait for other sound designers and packs! no one forces you to buy the xps instead of making your own presets :P.

Hey, I just had a great idea! How about if you start selling Avenger to us today instead of waiting until Thursday?

Just trying to be helpful...

So if I understand it right, avenger can only use multi samples and samples from xp packs so you always have to buy the expansions?

It won't be able to import and manipulate samples from your own?

Yes, you can import multisamples - p17 of the manual here - http://www.vengeance-storage.com/Avenge ... nglish.pdf

I think the main limitation is you need to use an external editor for loop points, which Avenger can then read (might have this wrong?)

This is very encouraging – importing multisamples with arbitrary intervals seems quite straightforward.

The following is a bit puzzling, though: "You can only use flat notes (#), no „b“ half notes." I assume it should read: "You can only use sharp notes (#), no „b“ half notes."

Looking forward to this instrument, for other reasons than EDM and such stuff… ;-)

If it were easy, anybody could do it!
