On my android tablet i can only hook up one speaker at a time. is there an AP or hardware device i need to have to speakers going? also are there good android music DAW that i can send multiple Bluetooth signals. I want like a 8IN/8OUT Bluetooth audio interface or something.

Any ideas or links will be very helpful.

Nope, can't do that: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_B ... .28A2DP.29
up to 2 channel stereo, either to or from the Bluetooth host
But it also say:
Each A2DP service, of possibly many
but I doubt you'll find any secondary service. BlueTooth is not designed for your use case.

[edit]Wild idea: maybe you can encode Dolby Digital Surround 7.1 in a single stereo audio stream, and that way get 8 channels. But I doubt it exists.

Standard Bluetooth HiFi audio (different from the phone sound) uses the Bluetooth A2DP profile, which is designed to transfer one-way, stereo (2 channels) of "near CD quality" sound, with the mandatory codec.

Now, in theory you could have more than one A2DP connection to a single BT radio chip, but after two you'd run out of available bandwidth. To add more channels you need to have multiple chips. However, no phone, tablet or computer I have ever heard of has this kind of BT implementation. Some devices built for very special use cases might have (conferencing equipment, transmitters for simultaneous interpreters etc) and a few car models have multiple BT chips (streaming from phone, via headunit, to one or more pairs of rear seat headphones).

Nope. Apart from the mandatory SBC codec there are implementations using AAC or MP3 compression. Best quality and lowest latency should be using the proprietary aptX codec. But all are stereo only.

If you want 8in/8out you will have to look for the WiFi-connected stuff, and I'm not sure if you will be able to use these to actually record/play back from the tablet (I think it is most often just used as a control surface).

Or get a speaker that can be paired with another, eg I got the Creative Roar for my GF which had this feature

Hey. So is just a bluetooth connecting that you're using with your tablet or a line-out from your tablet?

Connection is Bluetooth but one of the features of this speaker is that you can pair 2 together.

It was a good deal considering its features and reviews to comparable speakers

Cool. Which brand of speaker is it? Thanks

I don't actually recommend this speaker for audio work, it's highly coloured.

I only got it for my GF as her laptop speakers were so quiet.
