+1. I think the GUI looks pretty cool, actually, purely from an artistic standpoint. OTOH, I do agree that it's not something that I'd like to stare at for long periods, nor does it rate very highly in the form-vs-function category IMO. But, yes, i also sometimes wonder what came over some devs, when i see thri GUI's, especially in audio applications, it seems like they're rather gifted in DSP work, than in designing useful GUI's.
