Did you also switch e.g. the "Arp1" in the Osc "Route" section on? This is usually on top of the routing.noiseboyuk wrote:Really dumb question for those who have it working - can't switch the damn arpeggiator on, and yes I've pressed the On button. When multiple ARPs are activated you could also choose between multiple Arps in the routing section.

I agree, parallel would be awesome. This reply was actually towards Ignonator since he wasn't sure if more than one filter can be assigned an osc. He edited his reply so now it seems my reply was to youSampleconstruct wrote:I figured that but couldn't believe it so I thought I was missing something.Touch The Universe wrote:You can route however many filters as possible to a single osc, but they are always in serial. Once you add a new filter with the +, you have to then add the new source in the route section by using the + menu. It'd be nice to be able to at least control the amount sent into each filter.

I was playing with a couple of build in WT's and 1 slow LFO. It was steppy. Also, it seems like the basic waveforms (i am sure about the pulse and saw) are "moving". going in and out of phase.Caine123 wrote:thanks for the feedback! what do you think of the sound and rapid?Sampleconstruct wrote:Only 4 LFOs seems strange for a synth with so many oscillators and possible modulation targets, I guess one will have to abuse some of the other modulators to behave like LFOs then.
I'm not convinced at all yet, the wavetabling, resynthesis and wavebending/shaping part is quite advanced, the whole sample aspect and multi-sample import hassle is a big downer, some of the filters are really good, the modulation system is so so, the entire experience is everything else than wowing me and the bugs and crashes are nagging. But maybe time will tell...
Ingo, you have a way to make the wt transitions smooth?

You can set the phase to anything but random and it will reset
Its hard to notice since its so tiny but its in the main osc window, which shows the wave, in the bottom left corner.

There is a box where you can choose either smooth or steppy where it says Index.exmatproton wrote:I was playing with a couple of build in WT's and 1 slow LFO. It was steppy. (Thanks Sampleconstruct and Ingonator - quite right I had to switch it on AND then route in the Osc. Seems bloody obvious now of course...)

I am using the smooth setting. Still quite steppy (especially with 'simple' pulses and sines/bells)wagtunes wrote:There is a box where you can choose either smooth or steppy where it says Index.exmatproton wrote:I was playing with a couple of build in WT's and 1 slow LFO. The differences in timber between each WT position is going to affect that. If one position is drastically different from another, it won't matter what setting you use. It will sound steppy.exmatproton wrote:I am using the smooth setting. Sure, but this is done way better in synths like Icarus, Nave, Rapid, Falcon (etc).wagtunes wrote:

I have done a simple, highpassed build in Juno PWM wavetable test, with a LFO @ 0.15 Hertz.
It is really ugly. And this is with the smooth setting.
All other settings are default and i used the build in standard 24dB highpass filter.

Now here is a Rapid PWM WT with highpass and LFO @ 0.15 Hertz

If you cllick on "Index" above the big wavetable index knob you could choose between a "Steppy" and a "Smooth" mode. "Smooth" is the default in teh Init patch.exmatproton wrote:I was playing with a couple of build in WT's and 1 slow LFO. It was steppy. Yeah, i did try those settings. Honestly, even with the smooth setting, i don't like the sound at all when moving the WT's. Additionally when using the dedicated wavetable envelope in the Editor page you also got the "smooth" parameter/knob which makes modulation with the envelope smoother indeed.
With double clicking on parts of the wavetable envelope you coudl add additional steps. With right clikc on an enveloep point you could select to remove it. Adjusting the slope for each envelope step is possibe too.
The "Smooth" knob is not available in the other mod envelopes.
