As a user, what you really want, is the sequencer kit parts to be assigned to an octave (say, C0-B1).
people should really read the manual more often :)

just turn off the Drumsequencer in the Drum Routing and there you have a Drumkit with C0 (kick) to B1 (crash) so you can play via MIDI / Daw's piano roll
....actually I did read the drum sequencer part of the manual, twice! Humble suggestion - place this rather crucial point at the start of the drum sequencer section (referencing the routing section). But regardless, the point still stands - it's either / or, isn't it? I guess this does mean it's easier to set up a 2nd instance with the same kit than doing it one instrument at a time, but it's still cumbersome.

It occurs to me that this shouldn't be too difficult a fix though, although I see the drum sequencer page is already pretty crowded. What is needed is a Kit field, where you can select your octave for kit elements (defaulting to off). Problem solved?

This happens when resizing the UI in FL Studio with the handle:

Also there are too many moving white points inside this mod env (Preset SQ I Remember):

@noiseboyuk
sorry, I am not sure if I understood what you are planning to do? You want to play the drums without the drumsequencer, right?
Sorry, no native speaker :)

Okay. But this can get quiet confusing very fast :D Since it's just flickering.

So as currently you can only have one pattern in the drum sequencer, with no variation. Even the dullest EDM track has more going on than start / stop. You've got so many clever features put into that sequencer, that it's a shame to be so restricted on using it in practice.

The simplest way of expanding its usefulness would be to allow the individual kit elements to be accessed at the same time as the sequencer. So (super-simple example) - you stop the sequencer for a bar, but you want to trigger the clap alone on the 4th beat before bringing it back in. As far as I can make out, the only way to do this currently is to have a 2nd instance of Avenger to have the same kit loaded, but with the sequencer bypassed, which is obviously convoluted.

All that's needed is a box in the drum sequencer to select which octave you'd like the individual kit elements to be triggered from - off, C-1-B0, C0-B1 and so on. Then you have all kit elements, plus the sequencer, available simultaneously in the one patch, and any internal effects and mod routings will be consistent whether a kit part is triggered by the sequencer or manually from the keyboard.

(PS - love the moving white dots... hypnotic...)

Do i miss something, or is this VST3 only? Only got the option to install either VST 32- or 64-bit, or AAX in the installer, and now, there's only the VST3 installed. No biggie, just wondering, because it's mentioned on the Vengeance site, that it's available as both VST2 and VST3.

No. I'm using the VST2 version. The demo installer shows VST2, VST3 and AAX on win but 64bit only.

Avenger is feature rich, just the kind of things I like on a synth ! BRAVO!

OK now:
I INIT Avenger against 3 other synth INIT using C1 note on My Midi Keyboard using a saw.....all 3 other synth registered the C1 note at 130 Hz , But Avenger registers the same C1 note one Octave lower at 65 hz....why is that?

I had sort of a GUI crash here. While clicking around on the FX / Master FX buttons, suddenly the GUI froze and Cubase didn't react anymore. I could continue to play notes via keyboard, but the GUI froze completely.

Looks like a good plugin but I'm not going to buy it because of the computer-specific limited-activations DRM.

I'd prefer something that tied it to my account but didn't put a fixed limit on activations (like Native Instruments), or a permanent dongle license (like iLok, eLicenser or Waves USB).

I replace computer components (which frequently invalidates most PC-specific DRMs) and install new OS images/alternate boot drives frequently and I don't need to worry about burning through activations.

I hope Vengeance comes up with a licensing scheme that lets legitimate users install their products as many times as they need to on at least one PC at a time.

Aah... my bad then. Mistook VST2 and VST3 for 32- and 64-bit. :)

AFAIK you can do that. When changing components and so on just deactivate the licence and activate it later on again. I'm sorry if this is a wrong information but it's not that clear in this thread.

we used the same numbers as in Nexus or Phalanx (C0 is the lowest on the graphic key, C5 the highest)

@Noiseboyuk
good point, ok understand now. This was on the list for an update. Its no big change. We plan to have a 2nd option for the Drumsequencer in the routing menu. Turn it on like the way its now, or turn it on, that each Key play its loop individually (C plays only kick loop, D# plays only clap loop etc...). will come

no problem here. You can use it on 3 machines. If you install new components this will not change anything. Deleting or formatting an OS will bring your authorization on this machine back.

This is nice to hear, watched your videos over the past weeks, think you've got something special with this one, good luck with it :tu:
