I am demoing Phalanx at the moment and it's so easy to use, you have the tech to do this already.
I already read this the first time you posted it ;) We are currently checking if we WANT this. Since Phalanx is exactly our tool for that. We do not want to make it obsolete, as you can understand. We will see, I think we can find a solution for this.
My interest in this synth was peaked when some of the beta testers in this thread touted Avenger as an easier to use Falcon alternative. But if I understand correctly, it's not possible to drag & drop a wav into Avenger and make it loop... What a shame. It's all about ease of use for me.

Anyone just joining the this thread would just see a moan fest on what should be a calibration of an amazing achievement.

I have Flacon, Serum, Diva etc etc...any one may be better in some respects, but I have not come across anything better around as a synth in 20 years of doing this, and it is amazingly easy to use (I haven't even looked at the manual yet and have a dozen new patches). The FX, modulation possibilities, range of oscillators...mind blowing.

This is the real deal- sure, there are a ton of small teaks, improvements that I am sure will happen over time, this is literally just lunched and is amazing on release and amazing value.

So, I will say it ' Amazing Job, Well Done, Congratulations!!
This is the KVR after all :D
Well good for you that you can demo the instrument, i cant and its fault in the design, so i can justify myself. :tu:

I don't see it as a Falcon alternative, I already own Falcon. It is a different synth entirely, luckily it has a full demo (unlike Falcon which I bought blind!)....Its also half the price of Falcon.

Falcon is a truly great synth, but Avenger is far easier to use overall (I have spent maybe 20 hours with Falcon, 2-3 with Avenger as its all I have used today in my studio, I don't think anyone will argue that Avenger is easier to use, but some may prefer the Falcon methodology and some of its unique features and workflow

If I just wanted a certain wavetable sound I would probably go Serum, analogue Diva or Legend...It is NOT going to do everything better and replace everything, but it is I think the best workstation type synth available, and yes, I personally think its better than Falcon as it is so easy to use, but the debate I am sure will rage if you have to decide between them!

With the current deal and sans VAT, I paid £116 - so I am not complaining about anything...and I am sure they will sharpen up the text in the next release ;-)
X32 and 24C mixers, S88MK3, Live + PUSH 3, Osmose, RedShift 6, Pro3, S4, Tempera, Syntakt, Digitone, OP1-F, OPXY, TR-1000, Eurorack, TD27 Drums, Guitars, Basses, Amps and of course lots of pedals!

I was a little bit disappointed that the wavetables do not consist of several waves (maybe i missed something)
yes you missed something. You missed 596 wavetables to be precise :) Seems you only checked out the static OSC shapes
Aye! Will check it out later today again, also to see what else i have missed. :D

I also wouldn´t call it bitching if a thing crash (what it does for me often when changing samples on the fly f.e.) and asking for making it usable with non nasa computers and flux compensators :D
But the positive is that i really love it for ambient and drone like stuff. All the modulations are fantastic. Modulating the flip of the pitch envelope or using the wavetables envelope/sequencer as modulation source etc. gives me some really awesome results in no time.
Might be possible in other synths too but not as fast and smooth (for me).
It´s not the fattest sounding synth but it´s not what i wanted it for.
It´s the first synth (again for me only maybe) which let me do complex modulations of volume, pitch, whatever in no time similar to another one i prefered for these things until now.

I'm getting missing content errors.
I've re-imported the content multiple times, most presets work but some get the missing content error.

Yep, i also think the ease of modulation assignments is a big plus of Avenger.

Welcome to KVR where people just love to bitch.

It's no wonder that I hate it here.
If you hate it so much here why not just do one?
Imo you should be grateful to Kvr and its users for the revenue it brings you.

after reading 15 or so pages of complaints, disappointments etc I am wondering what did betatesters doover the testing period...

We tested the software. I found 3 bugs during the entire time. I don't know what the problem is that people are having unless something got majorly F'd up in the latest build, which I have yet to install because of all the horror stories I'm hearing. 1.0.20 has been flawless for me. So I'm going to wait to see if something really did go terribly wrong or a lot of this is just OS related.

All I know is I'm 125 patches into this thing already and having no problems at all. When my library is finished I'll install 1.0.21 and see what all the fuss is about.

I don't get the fuzz either. I am testing the demo until monday when i'll buy the full version. Running on Cubase 8.5. I have had zero issues. No crashes and it's running beautifully and the sound is awesome.

we do not get that much support emails here, also. The main problems seem to be focussed here on KVR... thats why I am here to help out if possible

I have a 27" i5 iMac that's getting really long in the tooth (mid 2010) and testing the demo (in Bitwig) I have none of the weird spinning fan, cpu overload and crash issues that are being reported. Fortunately. So it's not like you need a state of the art computer to use this. There must be some compatibility issues that are causing this. I hope they get resolved quickly.

The interface definitely clicks with me. If only it had an easy way to import wavs. The moment Vengeance announces that this wil be added in an update, I'll buy this.

I am saving some issues the next couple of days, so i can make 1 ticket. Also, some stuff seems to happen randomly, so some proper troubleshooting is necessary. I am still not able to reproduce some crashes i am having.

The VST3 seems more stable compared to the VST2.4 variant at least (at my end that is). But i had 2 crashes in FL Studio and Reaper with the VST3 already today...

FL Studio 12.4, Reaper 5.2
x64, Windows 10 (latest)
