My hat off to the both of you 8)
Thanks, Mark.

This is actually me remixing Ian's tune. I wasn't sure how he was going to feel about it actually, as I've really taken his track apart, but he seemed pleased with it.

Cheers,
Steve
Ick, yeah you're right....

Still a great piece :)

Thanks vurt.

I just may take you up on that. I've been trying to keep a pace of one completed track a week, and I've found using other people's sounds a great way to refresh the brain and spark new ideas. I'll been moving in the next few weeks, so that pace will slacken for a while, but come September I should be able to hit it again.

If any one else is up for it, let me know.

Cheers,
Steve

Thanks, normal. Your words have just given me an idea for later. Excellent work.

Since the stuff I did for the Smartelectronix competition, I've really felt I've gotten a handle on using Audiomulch as an instrument. I think much of the unique tonal quality comes out of that.

I've now begun an ongoing collected remix project on my site, entitled Reflection on others, and have added this one and the remix of vurt's id there. A third will hopefully be added soon.

Steve

Been away on a rather nghtmarish holiday :-o , so haven't had the chance to comment on this until today.

But I'm back now and can only say how happy I am with what Mr Hamman did with my track "Filter".

Absolutely nothing like the original (prolly why it's so good, then :D ) and quite majestic. I just love the way this builds and creeps up on you. It's hypnotic. It's subtle and most of all it's goregous. It washes over you and envelopes you totally.

Again, it's very reminiscent of Stars of the Lid and I'm a fan of theirs, so no surprises in my loving this to death

No idea how something this good can be done in so short a period of time - Steve got it done in a matter of days :o
Takes me months to finish a track... :bang:

Only remains for me to say thanks, Steve.

Just listened to this again.
Totally f***ing awesome

Cheers, Ian. This was a fun one.

I'm not sure how I got it done so quick. Working on one now, finding it a bit slower. The quiet parts in your tracks had so many little noises going on, that I just built on those.

Thanks for letting me have a go at it.

Cheers,
Steve
