Give them a break...
What else could I do on a Saturday?

Me too. After two days of reading this thread and demoing Rapid in parallel I went for ... Falcon (which Simon already owns afaik).

Loosing all these amazing patches during demoing, due to the no-save-restriction is just too frustrating and that loud nagging white noise burst simply sucks.

Is there any way that the arpeggiator or sequencer can play a different sample at each step?

Oh, Falcon is and will be my all time favorite hybrid instrument (next to Alchemy 2), let's see what HALion 6 brings though :)

I just tried the demo, had a really nice thing going on with multiple modulations, sequences and a cool sound... then the demo limit hit and that was that... :dog:
Not the most very clever way to make people want to buy the synth...

My mousewheel just did overheat while scrolling through millions of shapes/wavetables/samples... Poor mouse.
(Maybe the wavetables that don't fit on the screen should pop up in additional rows on the right side.)

Is there any deeper info for the filter-types? (maybe i missed it.. !?)

It worked on me but as my purchase apparently didn't go through I'll see if I still want to buy it tomorrow.

To always have matching macro-names on the KK-keyboard-displays. + Maybe access to filter/amp-ENVs.. + Browsing from hardware.
Page 1:
3 Macroknobs, 2 Macrobuttons + Modw.CC1/Expression/Aftertouch = 8 Knobs (or Filter/Env-stuff if possible)
You can already do this for yourself.
Just open Komplete Kontrol, open Avenger in it, assign the Knobs and save it as an Init preset in Komplete Kontrol.

Then browse the presets in Avenger.
You still have all the knobs assigned to the Komplete Kontrol.
But.. but i want the names on the knob-displays on the hardware. These change from preset to preset...In Massive the names change and it works.

Also NKS is better because you can use it in Maschine the same way.
(i could be wrong... but i am very sure.. i am not)

It took me 2 days and about 10 attempts to buy it, had issues getting it to remove VAT and process
- very frustrating but I got it in the end...but I almost gave up....

Hello guys

I got that weird GPU issue to, but i am on Windows 7, Ableton live 9.7, Intel core i7 4970K + Intel HD graphics 4600.

Its hitting like 70% - 80%, and other soft-synths are like 3-6 %(Serum).

Is this some kind of GPU acceleration feature or what ? can be turned off ?

I hope this will be fixed, because i already buy this.

I really like this synth,
except for this issue, but its deal breaker for me, because i cant imagine using this in big project where CPU + GPU hitting hard...

Sorry for poor English.

Maybe they don't want to sell it, just create this massive hype and then enjoy the shitstorm, I don't know, something about this release seems surreal.

Just watching the videos, so far this sounds pretty good. Looks perfect for electronic music producers who want to create starting presets for quick track production.

So far it appears that you probably wouldn't really need anything else except Avenger and your DAW to produce some decent sounding skeleton tracks. If the CPU usage is super good then I'll probably think about selling some of my other products in order to fund this.

Time to demo..

Any very experienced mac user that knows if i can damage my macbook Retina cause of constant high running fans because i have one instance of Avenger open in my DAW ?

Stupid enough to have to be asking such a question imho.

Must say i have my macbook retina for a year now and never experienced a piece of software that took my fans running so high and so everlasting.
It scares the sh*t out of me.

Damn U Avenger !
Truly regret buying this.
How could i be so naive, thinking this time Vengeance would come with a plugin that just had just some small bugs at release. (Yeah, U-HE for example, they DO know what they are releasing, in no case utterly unworkable garbage plugins).

I own other vengeance plugins like tape stop and glitch bitch, they still have their annoying quirks on mac, but further development just has ceased so it seems.

Call me stupid, indeed.
