Hi everyone,

If you always wanted to have ReaEQ in a bigger size, now you can.

Screenshot speaks for itself, so let me just give you the main points:

- Better usability on high-resolution screens
- EQ area circa 4 times bigger for better visibility of curve
- Significantly finer control with dragpoints
- Significantly finer control with sliders
- Up to 19 tabs can be visible at the same time (arrows appear after 20+)

The enlargement can be applied to both the ReaPlugs 'Standalone' and the REAPER 'Built-In' version.

Detailed instructions are in the archive.

Glad to hear it.

Did you do the 32bit or the 64bit?

I have no way of testing 64bit myself...just curious to know if it works the same way on both.

Funny, I was just wishing for this. Too bad it's such a lengthy install process. Ugh

Thank you

Oh ENV1, thanks but it's too complicated for me... Would you be so kindly to upload a 32 bit dll? ^_^
Thanks in advance

It only sounds lenghty in the instructions because i tried to be thorough and precise.

(I always have to assume that the user knows absolutely nothing about anything.)

But in actuality its really just 3 steps: Load the DLL, select the resource file, save.

After youve done it once you can do it in your sleep.

You know i cannot distribute other peoples stuff without their consent.

Maybe you could ask a friend to help you out?

Theres nothing to program, the procedure isnt very different from replacing some text in a text document.

(And you can do that, cant you.)

Anyrate, whats your first language? Maybe we can find somebody who can translate the instructions for you.

Man, it's so cool! Here is a link to 32-bit version for Reaper: http://stash.reaper.fm/v/29081/reaeq.dll . Enjoy. ;)

Upd: 64-bit Reaper version doesn't look properly after the procedure - the black part of window doesn't change its size, but background becomes bigger.

Thanks ENV1 & Vitalker... ^_^

Thanks ENV1. I was stoked when I saw I could adjust the forms in reshack also. Can the meters in reacomp be enlarged as well?

I'm using Reaper-32 on Win-7/64.

Yeah, you can edit it any way you want. Make it even bigger or whatever you prefer.

I havent tested enlarging any meters yet (i will later when i get to the ReaComps) but i dont think it will be a problem. I will let you know.

Did you clear that with Justin?

I wouldnt want to get into any trouble here, after all its his stuff.

Thats unfortunate. Theres probably nothing i can do, but i will check anyway.

Thanks for letting me know.

OK, ive just had opportunity to take a look at the two 64bit DLLs (ReaEQ standalone and built-in) and with respect to the dialog scripts they are 100% identical to the 32bit DLLs. (Just as id assumed.) I then applied the actual enlargement to them and found no problems there either: The size of every element increased properly, just like with the 32bit DLLs. Of course i cannot run the 64bitters to see how they look when instanciated, but since the margins are definitely all set correctly i see no reason why there should be a problem.

So vitalker, is it possible that youve made a mistake? Like i said, there should be no difference between 32bit and 64bit, so perhaps you did something wrong by accident? Just checkin.

In any event, if any of you did the 64bit please let me know how it went for you. If there really is a problem id like to know what it is, (for future reference), because from what i can see the bits shouldnt make any difference at all in this case.

Thanks.

PS @ Chris-S: Forgot to say thanks earlier. Belated thanks to you too.
