@Ivan_C : those presets do make a difference ;) For example the "classic doubling" from the vocals category - that can be used to split a guitar signal left & right better that with any other (free) panning / stereo widener plugin I've tried so far :) I would have never thought of that on my own, and that is prolly due to the plugin's name - this is so much more than your average delay and the name doesn't do it justice (IMO)...

Well, the doubling with the stereo delay and modulation is a well known trick, and I think I can find a preset doing this is in most of commercial delay plug-ins  I'm not too fond of that personally because it can do some harm to the signal if the two channels are summed in mono. However I like using wideners in general when playing guitar with my monitors so...

For the name of the plug-in, it doesn't make that much any sense right now, but it's going to change when I'll be able to rework on the UI :D

Spaceship Delay.

There was a cult that believed an alien race is going to visit the Earth and only members of their cult will be chosen to be picked up soul-wise by the alien's ships to go to heaven located somewhere beyond the seventh planet.

No one really knows if the aliens did arrive or if there was a delay spanning a time period longer than the average human life span.

I'm sorry, my other computer is tied up right now and so I'm just typing stuff that many may find quite idiotic and immature. Okay that's that for now. Bye.

Well usually panning the guitar tracks hard left and right relies on actually recording 2 separate tracks. The trouble (that I'm having) is when you only have 1 track and you try panning it hard left/right. Most plugins do that by splitting the signal and the end result is a weak and undefined guitar tone. It would be neat to have a free plugin that basically clones the track and then pans it left/right without losing clarity or adding arifacts.

As for the name, I was trying to say that labelling it just a "delay" "undersells" it so to speak, since it's capable of so much more. But I guess you know better :)

Well, it's true that it can do a lot more than just delay, but it's complicated to find the right name in general for this kind of product without being misleading...

By the way, what do you think of that thing : https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1556263559/joue

It would be an awesome controller too for some of the KVR DC synths or for a freeware guitar modeling software :D

Of course completely ridiculous idea, I mean like beyond retarded. And so instead, they work on advanced computer technology like contextual crop and facially aware tools- the digital imaging industry has been moving rapidly forward, nobody sees emulating old shitty gear as the future. People are using computers, and they want to harness the power of the CPU in any way they can.

Imagine the tools we'd have if audio industry would embrace the power of computing fully and with the same enthusiasm.
You already have the best tool and the most complex tool a human kind ever met and found in the whole Universe so far and it's in your skull, but you don't want to use it.
People for centuries used a piece of paper and pencil to write music which lasted for centuries and it will last forever. Keep making excuses how you need better tools.

If you had a brain, you'd find yourself having a bit of a hard time realizing all those sheets of music you wrote on paper with a pen without instruments.

But yes, pen and paper was where development reached the peak, and discussing more advanced tools is an excuse, wrote a guy using a computer or smart device on an internet discussion forum focused on virtual studio technology.

All my facepalms.

C'mon folks, gather yourselves and don't forget that we're all not only humans, but actually love the same field of creativity. We have every reason to respect each other, even if it's sometimes tough for us to understand each other.

Really, the best tip I can give, if I may: Take a deep, long breath, and stop being afraid you might miss or lose something!

Everyone here is here, because there's so much to gain. It shouldn't be about profit or prestige on the side of the creators and it shouldn't be about creative laziness on the side of the receivers of these gifts here.
Apparently it's so easy to lose track of all that, bickering away over subjective ideals, expressing desires as demands or needs or measuring your intellectual capacity against each other.
We learn from each other with every exchange. Think about what we might learn from you when you write what you write!

If you're looking for a thicker guitar tone, you kinda need to double track it. Lots of people have tried to thicken up tracks with plugins and nothing really works all that well.

*Or*

I actually wire my guitars to record two tracks at a time. I install a stereo jack into the guitar, the neck humbucker is wired to the Ring, the bridge humbucker wired to the Tip. Then I use a stereo splitter cable to go into two inputs on my interface. Then I use different amp sims/settings on each track. I get a nice thick sound.

Works in R6.
Hi,
It should work with Reaktor version 5.9.4 and above. A short tutorial video is on its way to explain the synth a bit.

Cheers
