some people haven't lern to Apologize
when you start selling a product, and it cant fulfil its promise which it have to offer, then you must Apologize, big companies make that, then start to fix the problem
There is a free fully functional demo- why would anyone buy it if it didn't work for them? Most software companies that offer a demo will say try it thoroughly on your system before you buy it. You don't have to buy it, if it doesn't work for you (yet) walk away (or did you buy it without testing it?)

As far as I can see the developer is working very hard to address the issues what is what really matters, there have already been 2 updates in a week, cant really ask for more....it was beta tested, perhaps all the beta testers had decent graphics cards!
The meaning of a Demo version is put in the wrong context.
A Demo version should be functioning already as good as people would expect.
This is not the case with Avenger.
It seems the Demo version now functions as just a beta test version for the larger crowd to try out.
I have never seen an open beta test program for Avenger.
I can only conclude that IF there was a beta test program, it was poorly done.
If you do beta testing than it is important to test among a wide variety of hardware computer configs as possible, both on windows and mac side.

Its a demo. What do people expect from a demo lol! Its not meant for production. Buying a synth is not just a synth but presets in it, they allow presets for demo and try off use. Not preset to be included in production. You also pay for rights to use sounds when buying it. Demo is demo dont stretch it

There seriously needs to be some kind of import feature directly on the synth.
I agree, but this was already discussed in this thread and they said, they want to keep that easy import feature for their sampler, so atm we are left with a rudimentary sample player without looping function which detects wrong root notes when single samples are imported as multi-samples (I mentioned it a few pages back), even if the wavs are labeled correctly, but it's still very useful, you just have to loop the samples before importing them (still no x-fade looping though).

gotta love kvr, a simple question can turn into minefield  :P

though after finding the answer, I can see how a simple answer would be hard to get :hihi:

Decent graphics cards tou say? I have a GT 750M. I play 3D shooters. And yet Avenger puts my videocard down in no time... and crashes Logic on a hourly basis.

such a shame, they have a lot of cool features already in place that would be awesome for samples, like the ping pong mode in the wavetable editor. My interest level isn't so high to keep up to date with the thread though, hopefully a little more experimenting will prompt me to

we take a look into easier sample import later. The GPU problem has priority atm

As you touch the GUI, could you please consider improving the readability of fonts, and GUI arrangement in general? I run the GUI at 85% and the text in the ModMatrix is really blurry and hard to read. The whole ModMatrix area is tiny and it is tedious to maintain an overview. Also the Arpeggiator suffers from blurriness and it's tiny size, it's not really comfortable to work with. I would appreciate if maybe some of the huge buttons - which you just turn up or down anyway - get a little smaller, and ModMatrix and Arpeggiator, where you really do a lot of detail work, get bigger.

it'S like if Camelaudio would have said "we make another product for this so you have to buy it or not to use our sampler better in Alchemy..." this is really a bad move from Vengeance.... i dont want their sampler but Avenger intuitive, i dont think this will interfere cause if someone wants a sampler he gets a sampler, i wouldnt use Avenger as a sampler, too much, that's why i have 2-3 sampler for sampling. but here in Avenger i wanna TRY OUT ASAP samples and hear the results and NOT spend time before that with other software to cut it just right..... time consuming and plain uninspiring...

There was no need for an “F“ here, I was just too lazy to explain that awesome import procedure.

... or at least use some readability-optimized fonts in general, clear type or something like that.

A GT750M is a very basic card for laptops (for example, the GTX 980 in my DAW is over 80 times more powerful.....) and may also be running considerably slower than that if not optimised for high performance in the power settings.

That said, I see nothing in the interface that should be taking so much GPU and the issues seem to be predominantly with mobile graphics processors and in particular Macs (as far as I can see from the posts). All I can say is that with a desktop PC and a decent graphics card I have had not a single crash and no GPU or CPU issues, so it is somewhat isolated, or at least not affecting everyone.

I notice on the VPS site there is no minimum graphics card given in the spec...perhaps we will end up like Video Games and the graphics card minimum will be part of the VST specification :o

Some results from CPUID HWMonitor in Windows 7 / Reaper

Avenger 1.021
GUI closed: CPU 1% GPU 1%
GUI open: CPU 7% GPU 80%

Avenger 1.023 (Eco mode)
GUI closed: CPU 1% GPU 1%
GUI open: CPU 50% GPU 15%

Still don't see the reason in creating such a resource demanding GUI. It's a synth, after all. All other plugs have GUI's that barely register on the meters.
