there are 2 programms which can do the job.first: timefactory from prosoniq (www.prosoniq.com (http://www.prosoniq.com)), this one uses the mpex technology. it works not in realtime, but the quality of the time-streching is very good.
you dont have to buy timefactory when you have cubase sx, cause in sx (pc and mac version) there is the mpex code included. simple change the timestrech method to mpex (somewhere in the cubase settings).
the second program is serato-(www.serato.com (http://www.serato.com))"time and pitch". its for pc, but you need the protools software from digidesign. i heard that the serato one works with protools free for pc, but this protools free version works only under win98.
last note: the old timebandit code is alive in wavelab and cubase, on pc its the timebandit.dll but note that timefactory and serato make much better results!!!!
hope that helps ..
