One question I have - does anything know if it's possible to swap out a drum from one kit into another? For example if I like the clap sound from 'Deep House 1', is there a way to load that into 'Deep House 2'?
Ideally I'd like to just be able to just scroll through the whole list of Avenger claps and pick the one that fits best, but I'm not sure if that's possible?

Thanks mate, but I meant someone going through the sounds and sequences in a video type thing. Still, the video still sounds ace

That's where I've been looking, but even though there's a 'drums' category it only contains a few files. I can't seem to locate the 2000 drum samples.wagtunes wrote:Yes. Drum samples are embedded in those files for obvious reasons.johnnyh78 wrote:That's where I've been looking, but even though there's a 'drums' category it only contains a few files. The arpeggiator and drum seq sync problems are better but still there. I uploaded a file to soundcloud.
The first part is a regular kick pattern within the drum sequencer. I drew a 1 bar midi note into the fl studio piano roll at c4 and just copied it 8 times after another. At 2 points there are flanging effects audible (and you can identify them at their peaks too). This occurs random but only if 2 notes connect to each other. As soon as there's 1 tick space between them it's fine.
The second part is a 8th note arp sequence. I noticed the flanging/strumming effect too. I rendered this example with the arp on the left channel and a 8th note click from the host on the right channel. Please download the file and open it with a wave editor. You'll see that the arp got slightly out of sync compared to the click and this causes the strumming at the end of the sequence.

Why not just shorten the note slightly, does it still happen. Breaktweaker will do this too if the notes are exactly a barMirkoVanHauten wrote:The arpeggiator and drum seq sync problems are better but still there. I uploaded a file to soundcloud.

Because this is a bug. I don't have Breaktweaker on my machine but if it reacts the same it's probably buggy too. I tested this with several synth plugins I own and this does not happen. Shorting the note would be a sloppy temporarily fix. And even if I'd do this there's something wrong with the arp timing. I think this may go hand in hand and if they find the bug, it probably fixes bothwoodsdenis wrote:Why not just shorten the note slightly, does it still happen. I'm also interested in any owners opinions on, well, actually any of the expansion packs. I'm curious if the quality is on par with the factory presets, which are superb...dawson2930 wrote:Hi everyone, I'm really interested in buying this synth after demo'ing. Fair enough but it doesn't happen here in Cubase 8.5 so it may well be a DAW issue IDK. Its not a universal issue.MirkoVanHauten wrote:Because this is a bug. A lot is not hapenning in Cubase, it's their (devs) daw of choice. Of course there are less problema there.woodsdenis wrote:Fair enough but it doesn't happen here in Cubase 8.5 so it may well be a DAW issue IDK. A "DAW" issue would be if someone is using the version 1.0 of a DAW which is not the case. Hopefully we're going to have lots of fixes in the following months.

Seems ok on studio one and bitwig (PC)
Is if just an issue with logic/mac?
