It could be a bunch of mistakes, no it makes no sense. But I have Elements and have used it for 22 days and it has some things the chart say it don't in 9.

22 days? So I'm guessing you're serious about that snailmail. I mean, even the most northern parts of Finland I'd imagine you'd get your e-licenser in a week or so after you order it from some local store.

I'm actually also thinking about picking up elements... could be useful for the singer if she has time to learn some basics. Then she could sketch her own ideas with the vocals and possibly even record them. Too bad elements doesn't have VST transit though

Maybe this is just referring to having 4 modes then? I would like to think the basic versions have some form of automation at least, can't see how any DAW can function without automation of some sort - but it would give me more confidence if it at least mentioned automation for the others instead of just that blank line.

It's all a matter of perception though right? What some call the best ever may be quite literally missing some things that some professionals need and/or have become accustomed to elsewhere, but a person making that first observation just hasn't ever used or seen (or even need) any of it.

Pyramix's automation for example is really great. You won't hear about it here though because it's not a midi sequencer.

Yes, that's right. I didn't notice it right away, but those are all missing in the tools area @ top.

and to Functional, no, I only just realized the only thing for me was to send out for a dongle, I expect their 3-5 bidness days is what will happen. I have a demo of C8 Pro and an activation code. I really prefer the old mixer though.

playing with automation should not break the creative flow, if u have to use your rational thought/brain before u change some automation that's pretty bad

it should work intuitively, Bitwig is quite good example, can use only automation clips (can try more automations variations to the same source), touching some control automagically selects the affected automation (change the controls on Push), automation can be modulated by (looped, free) automations etc.

This is epic, I wanted automation curves so bad, never knew they were already implemented. I'm gonna abuse the shit out of this. Kudos to you for this!
