One has to experiment with the root note/waveform length settings in the WT editor, so if you import a wavetable you made with e.g. Serum which uses a length of 2048 samples per waveform, set that parameter in the editor accordingly, if it doesn't sound smooth enough, shorten the wavetable and lower the scanning speed, crank up the “Adapt“-parameter and try different modes.
thanks simon!
atm at work sady, is written in the manual i guess, how many samples per waveform does Avenger support?
if less than 2048, is there any issue why it supports less?
It also allows for custom length up to 4096 samples per waveform and everything in between.
thanks again! will hopefully try it out until weekend to import my own samples and see how it is ;).

It's described in the manual:
The multisamples must be in a folder, where the folder name will be the name of the multisample later. You do not have to use multisamples, you also can use just 1 sample, named 1 C2.wav for example. The "_" stands for a "space".

Please choose the folder which contains the multisample. The files must be in wav format and named in accordance with the following scheme:
1_c0.wav 2_e0.wav 3_f#0.wav 4_c1.wav 5_e1.wav etc…
This is an example of 4th intervals. You may choose any interval that you wish. Another example would be the following octave interval:
1_c0.wav 2_c1.wav 3_c2.wav 4_c3.wav 5_c4.wav 6_c5.wav
Every other interval is also possible. Instead of using numbers at the beginning, you can also use any text that you wish. The only important thing is that the note name at the end (before the “.wav”) is included. We recommend however that you do use numbers as this helps keep the files displayed in order. You can only use sharp notes (#) in note names; no flat (b) half notes.
Then in the Avenger file menu just right click on the samples folder and choose “Convert Samples“, choose a destination and done.

Avenger uses 44.1 KHZ samples, if the SR differs from that, root note detection will be wrong. You can't edit the mapping/split points in Avenger nor can you edit looping/crossfade looping, so do that before you import the samples in an audio editor like e.g. rigth.

Simon Thanks For Your Advice and elaborate explanation about how to import your own samples in to the sampler in Avenger :tu: i read the manual and i manage to change the file type but when i do so it makes them as a shape File ex:(wt) not as a actual sample file ex:(Wavelab) it converts them as if they were a single wave cycle and also it loops creating the Gun machine effect :( .

i dont know what i did wrong i name it correct , put the root key and they where 44.1khz but still didnt work, it only works as a shape damm :help: :evil: Simon! could you please do a video explaining the process i would really appreciated , Also other people could get beneficiated by this cus is such work to get it right you could help others with a video, perhaps it would be Amazing if there is a way to import your own wave tables with out importing them in to Avenger sampler module make a video about that to. i want to hear my wave table like it is , the resampler it doesnt quit get it rigth do :ud:
You want to create Multisamples , right ?

Right-click on a folder which contains the samples and select a destination from the shown context menu (notice , the key names in the samples):

After that you find them at the choosen destination :

Hmmmmmm!!!! thank you so much i see a lot of things i dont see in my avenger i think is because im using the Demo Version im not able to create my own expansion let me ask you something does your samples do the machin gun effect when you load them that way?

Post

If you loop your samples in an audio editor before importing them into Avenger, they will loop, if not, they will not loop, so if you are referring to the machine gun effect as a fast loop in a sample, then that sample had an embedded loop before the import. If you are referring to the lack of round robin -> Avenger does not support round robin. But maybe you are just listening to a wavetable which has a fast wavetable modulation applied via the wavetable LFO (where you can also use alternate loops or any kind of shape you would like to draw) or you are listening to a single cycle waveform, it's hard to tell.

no, you simply looked in the wrong place.

go to the "DRUMS" tab, right from the OSC Tab. There you find a little browser with all 168 Drumkits
Thank you very much. Can I ask you why it's organized in this way? Not a problem at all, just curious.
Becuause the Drums are treated like an OSC, not like a complete Preset.
You can use Drums WITHIN presets
Understood. Thanks for the clarification and congratulations for your hard work on this wonderful project.

Any idea where or how we can change the skin?
My sounddesign: Synth1/Ex5/D-50 patches https://goo.gl/zE3pkk
My stuff: W10x64i7 15" laptop, Reaper/Cantabile3+Synth1+Avenger on stage+NordStage2+Samson Graphite 49
Loving new VPS Avenger! Check my skins! https://goo.gl/MBNJHj

you can set random sample start points or random finetune to avoid a machine gun effect.

Skin changing isn't in yet i think. I would like to know this, especially the white skin that was teased on Facebook by Manuel.

Does anyone know how to load individual drum samples into each of the slots of the Drums tab? I can't seem to find it in the manual, it only says how to load full kits.

Post

Are there simple ADSR envelopes I can add, for say controlling the WT index? Or do I have to use a mod envelope for this? I checked the manual, but couldn't see anything about the ability to add extra ADSR envelopes.

we are creating new skins as soon as all release-problems are gone

the Wavetable page has its own dedicated Envelope, which I recommend, since it has special functions (pingPong) and triggermodes.
But you you want you can of course assign your AMP ADSR or your Filter ADSR to the Wavetable Index.
Just drag and drop a Filter or AMP tab to the Wavetable Index knob

In the list of features I read: "up to 1000 playing oscs with one note possible".
I'm counting a total of :
8 Oscs;
7 unison voices per Osc (and per chorder?);
32 chorders(4 x8 Oscs) ;
8 Sub Oscs(1x8 Oscs).

Oscs + unison voices: 8x7=56
Chorders+ unison voices: 32x7= 224
Suboscs: 1x8 = ehmmm 8 :D
In total I'm counting 280 Oscs (Oscs+chorders) + 8 Suboscs = 288 per note
I'm sure that I'm missing something but what is it?
