I was working on a project in Ableton last night and while adjusting a patch I got a BLAST of distorted noise that would have blown my speakers out if I didn't have a limiter on. It somehow managed to clip the ableton channel even after I stopped the sequencer and disabled the plugin. Had to restart my audio drivers. Have never gotten anything like this from any synth I've had.

I will email Rene about this but has anyone else experienced massive volume spikes of noise?

msvs wrote:you can set random sample start points or random finetune to avoid a machine gun effect.let me ask you something does your samples do the machin gun effect when you load them that way
Hey manuel still loops when you put the phase and the fine tune in random, i think Simon From Patchtools has the answer, when i convert and import my samples to avenger im bouncing My one shots samples from logic X maybe thats why i get the Looping Effect could you recommend a work around ,maybe do a video on how to properly import your own samples you never did a video about this in the Vengeance YT
Also About the CPU Jumping spikes i have the same issue in LPX 10.2.2 OSX 10.9.5

No Simon is not a Wave table , i try loading my one shot synths that i have bounce from Logic X and i guess from what your saying thats my the problem so i guess i have to bounces them from other Audio app maybe Audacity??Sampleconstruct wrote:If you loop your samples in an audio editor before importing them into Avenger, they will loop, if not, they will not loop, so if you are referring to the machine gun effect as a fast loop in a sample, then that sample had an embedded loop before the import. If you are referring to the lack of round robin -> Avenger does not support round robin. But maybe you are just listening to a wavetable which has a fast wavetable modulation applied via the wavetable LFO (where you can also use alternate loops or any kind of shape you would like to draw) or you are listening to a single cycle waveform, it's hard to tell.
and what i mean is that why when i try to convert the one shot synth files in Avenger, they becomes and shows like if they were Single cycle waveforms not actually samples .....in Avengers OSC menu all the samples i convert in to Vengeance format show in the Category of Shapes But They are one shots samples.

I was asking the same thing a few pages back and as far as I can tell it doesn't seem to be possible. Would be nice to have that confirmed by the developer though.noiseboyuk wrote:Now I might be being dense - I see from the video how to drag and drop your own samples, but not, say, an individual snare from a different Avenger kit?msvs wrote:just drag and drop them...Does anyone know how to load individual drum samples into each of the slots of the Drums tab? I can't seem to find it in the manual, it only says how to load full kits.

That happens occasionally here too as well (in Logic X) as well as massive THUMPS followed by total audio dropout of the plugin with the UI still being animated.DaveEdwards wrote:I will email Rene about this but has anyone else experienced massive volume spikes of noise?

It's got nothing to do with Logic X, you are just doing something totally wrong. Come on, it's not rocket science, you can do it.Dizac wrote:No Simon is not a Wave table , i try loading my one shot synths that i have bounce from Logic X and i guess from what your saying thats my the problem so i guess i have to bounces them from other Audio app maybe Audacity??Sampleconstruct wrote:If you loop your samples in an audio editor before importing them into Avenger, they will loop, if not, they will not loop, so if you are referring to the machine gun effect as a fast loop in a sample, then that sample had an embedded loop before the import. hmmmm sometimes i wanna copy the OSC to another OSC but also keep the modulations too, maybe it would be possible to add paste ALL or something?
also 4 LFOs are not enough

Thank you for you reply Manuel, but I was indeed wondering what NoiseboyUK describes. Is it possible to combine drum samples from the different internal kits into a custom user drum kit?noiseboyuk wrote:Now I might be being dense - I see from the video how to drag and drop your own samples, but not, say, an individual snare from a different Avenger kit?msvs wrote:just drag and drop them...Does anyone know how to load individual drum samples into each of the slots of the Drums tab? no this is impossible. the Kits are fixed as they are.
But we already have an idea, maybe lock symbols in each slot

That would be great! If you'll pardon the pun, I think that would unlock a lot of the drum section's potentialmsvs wrote:no this is impossible. the Kits are fixed as they are.
