Has anyone used it? If so, experiences?

I thought that was abandonware from years and years ago.

You're probably right. Interesting how they did the multi-user collab stuff, though.

Is there anything else like it?

Funny. I sent email to ohm earlier this year and asked if they're planning to release anything new. They said that ohmstudio is their main focus now along with other projects (but no new plugins).

i'm still hoping for bug fix updates of the whole line. there's some issues here and there w/usability. menu problems. but they're exceptional plug ins imo. innovative and great sounding.

Interesting. I was not aware it was in their makeup. Then again I'm not sure where their makeup is these days

Seems that it has been slumbering for a while. Which is not surprising as this whole online DAW thing seems to be a solution looking for a problem. Can't see much point in it as people have always found ways to collaborate and will continue to do. Yes, occasionally there's annoyance when one does not have the same plugins that the other side but it's not that big of a problem that one would want to switch DAW's. My guess would be that this DAW will appeal to a very small niche of users and as such will not have much future.

Also, judging by how often Ohmforce website is down, I would not give them dime for anything that needs to be online.

The good news is that someone from Ohmforce posted recently in Effects section and said that they are planning to update all their fx and make some new ones too most likely.

Maybe they were just too early? Amped studio seems to be doing pretty well.
