I have begun to work on a free Christmas 2016 Memory Collection pack. It will be composed of samples from 1 Public Domain Christmas movie from 1935. More will be revealed in the next weeks.

I will announce the title of the movie but here's a hint if anyone wants to take a guess : there are 3 ghosts in it!

The movie is the 1935 British film Scrooge. It is the first sound version of "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens. The PDF doc is here:

Wait... you're selling samples from PD content? And you don't even map them for a sampler or the like so that one could at least say: "Ok, he invested a lot of work."?

If you want to know how much work it takes to make the Memory Collection packs, go download the Scrooge movie. First select a few hundreds usable and interesting audio excerpts that you will then further edit and restore because the original movie is old and noisy. My estimate is that it takes on average at least 20 minutes per finished sample. I did not count but it probably took me over 120 hours to make this free pack.
