Hello, hope you have a nice break, and enjoy NAMM. I probablyRudess wrote:Hey All,
Wanted to shout out to this community and say HELLO!
know far far less about modern musicians/music than anybody here,
but back when an advertisement with your photo was prominent here,
curiosity got me, so I found some video. Your musicianship
and showmanship inspired me to practice with a cheerful attitude.
Tour in peace!

I'm quite sure he's a freelance music hardware/software demo presenter at NAMM and MESSE.wagtunes wrote:Who's Jordan Rudess?Ben H wrote:Wait, how do we know that you are the REAL Jordan Rudess?

Ask him what the maximum number of notes he's ever played in a single synth demo at a show.
If he answers 22,457 (the correct answer) then you know it's him.

Hi Jordan
Nice to meet you here. I have been a fan of Dream Theater since y'all hit the scene decades ago. I have enjoyed your videos as well. I took a break from playing due to my other non-music profession and have returned to doing so in earnest over the last few years. Your exercise videos helped these older hands get back into shape fast. Thanks.

If you are a NAMM attendee, you will realize there is more than one Jordan Rudess. In the course of an hour, as you travel the aisles of Hall A you will see said "Jordan Rudess" demoing various keyboard related products from multiple manufacturers simultaneously at different locations, which leads to my theory: Jordan Rudess is either cloned or part of the Rudess quintuplets.

Anyway, nice to see you here Jordan. Dream Theater was a late discover by me, but then I bought a box with the entire CD collection. They are fundamental for me now, and promimently featured in my MP3 selection in my computer too. It is always a pleasure to see you live. See you next time you come to Porto

Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

If this is in fact, the real Jordan Rudess (and not one of those cheap knockoffs you see lurking around Starbucks!), I'd like to say thanks for all the great music and inspiring performances! I enjoy Dream Theater, but LTE floats my boat so much better! Another Dimension, Universal Mind, Acid Rain, etc. - makes me long for the mental and physical thrill of playing in hot bands exploring the edges of possibilities again! Thanks for taking music to new horizons, when so many are more focused on the relative safety of MOR!
BTW, seeing your wonderful use of the Roland type MW/PB joystick, inspired me to take that plunge. Loved the wheels (and both have their benefits), but I don't understand why these joystickers aren't more popular!?
Anyway, thanks for all the fish!

Never heard of you before (judging from your Wiki page, because of your genre), but you look like a goat if I dare say

I guess because this is a hint that there will be some new plugin synth/s being promoted around NAMM time.Pädy wrote:Why is this in instruments?

But that is still no reason to post personal notes in this subforum.aMUSEd wrote:I guess because this is a hint that there will be some new plugin synth/s being promoted around NAMM time.Pädy wrote:Why is this in instruments?
