Without a time machine you might be out of luck.

Honestly, who would have thought it but I do have a time machine so it is my lucky day. When was it on sale?zappsunzorn wrote:Without a time machine you might be out of luck.

A quick Google search points to three years ago:woggle wrote:Honestly, who would have thought it but I do have a time machine so it is my lucky day. When was it on sale?

mmm but this year only the plugins for the EOY Sale. I may wait until January and see if they bring in another sale before I buy it. The exchange rate is not so good for me at the moment, 30% would definitely be helpful. Maybe I can find a retailer discounting itChapelle wrote:They had a sale last year as well (30% off):woggle wrote:mgpqa1 wrote:A quick Google search points to three years ago:woggle wrote:Honestly, who would have thought it but I do have a time machine so it is my lucky day. Their sales model seems to be support for warez kiddies, who will eventually buy it or get a friend to buy it. Lifetime free updates, and a good support system. Also, like it or hate it, it's updated regularly. Also, they don't allow transfers "legally" so their money is their money.
It's a different business model to virtually any other host. I don't count the pseudo cakewalk thing.
So for all my rambling, you end up with a very distinct "good luck on that" for a discount.

I bought FL Studio Producer 50 percent off I believe In 2014. It was on sale the first week of January. I added Harmor and some other items from Image Line in 2015 again for 50 percent off. Love the lifetime free upgrades!

mmm - I think I will wait then for January and hopefully it goes on sale or the US dollar collapses. Either way I'm happyDrogers wrote:I bought FL Studio Producer 50 percent off I believe In 2014. thanks - I had seen that Thomann offer and have emailed them to see if they do a download version - hell they can open it up and email a photo of the serial if they want. Postage is 50Euro !Chapelle wrote:Some dealers seem to have it cheaper. Thomann sells the boxed version of producer edition for €139 (€50 less than Image-Line online shop). Depending on where you're from it might not be worth buying from them due to shipping costs or customs, though, but maybe you can find a similar price at a dealer in your country.
But I will take that deal if I can get it without the postage

This was some years ago, but I had bought a boxed version and I think I remember having to pay money ($25?) to "activate" lifetime updates.
It could be a false memory or no longer the case but I would look into it just in case.
Edit: I noticed I used the word "case" twice in a sentence-- whenever I do that I hear Austin Powers saying,"Please allow myself to introduce...myself."
