A new Rhodes Sample from Scarbee. According to the website, it has built upon some tips from George Duke to get his characteristic Rhodes sound.

Scarbee Classic EP-88s has more samples, greater dynamics and more keys – 88 of them! And everyone who have tried to restore and instrument like this knows that the lowest and highest octaves takes as much time as the rest of the keys together – its a true battle where you need a lot of patience, lots of spare parts and some luck too.

We wanted to have the best possible sustain on each key, perfect balance of tone and as much bark too. There are harder strikes (compared to Scarbee Mark 1) - as well as softer ones.

Hi

This is my first exclusive SCARBEE release since 2009 - and the main reason why I have not been active here for a loooong time since Native Instruments have taken care of all marketing, support etc.

Im still partners with NI - they still sell my products - but NOT this one...

I am so glad I did this - and also opened up the shop. I enjoy the close contact with users again.

Damn, this has been the year of the Electric Piano releases. Now I have another great one to add to my list of must buys!

This one does sound very nice. I have all of your basses with NI, and I will be adding this one early next year when my budget gets back to normal again after the holidays.

I haven't been keeping an eye of any competitors - never do that - so it was a surprise for me too.

So you guys are spoiled - Im very sure that you will like at least one of the many fine releases.

I will eventually get them all. I love EP's and can never get enough. Thus far all the vendors creating them have done unique enough stuff with each such that they are all wonderful for an aficionado like myself.

I look forward to getting yours after reading the comparison with Mark I and hearing the examples.
