William works on P5, Jan will join in after holidays, Sascha works on drum thing, Basti and myself on Z2.8, new dev starts Patch Browser revision in January. So there's lots in the pipeline. Being a good boy scoutI'm refactoring and improving stuff for all other projects as I code away.

Forget Zebra 3... make the Pro 5 emu first :P
Well.....................Z2.8 in that case, then P5 :hyper:
No way. Zebra 3 is a new thing, announced almost two years go, and a very much awaited one. Should take the priority, IMO. Of course, the economy, as always, may dictate its laws (I undestand that a P5 would probably generate bigger revenues). :borg:

As I said, we've got multiple developers who work on different projects. I'm not involved with the P5 other than whatever needs to be adjusted from the Repro-1 code.

My priority is Zebra. Or, more precisely: Currently it's the UI framework features that we need to make the upcoming stuff work, before I move on to implement more new stuff.

The thread topic perhaps?

- Why is it called Bazille? 8)
- Can it do "warm" "analog" sounds such as lush pads as well?

I love Bazille! It's definitely one of my favourite synths ever (I'm talking about hard- and software here). The filter may even be my all time favourite.
Bazille can do a lot of stuff really well, as it's obviously quite flexible, but it especially excels at drums/percussion, evolving pads/atmospheres and strange modular bleeps and bloops, in my experience.

However, there are a few things I'd still like to see in Bazille:
  • 4 - 8 Macro controls would be really nice to have. Complex synths like Bazille always benefit from such a thing, in my opinion. Yes, I know, the multiplexes can be abused as macro controls, but I'd still like to have a few dedicated knobs for this.
  • As I said, I really like the filter, but it has a very strong (and awesome) character. Sometimes it would be nice to have some kind of second filter mode, just to add another flavour to the mix.
  • Bazille is a modular synth, which means that a lot of its awesomeness comes from the "everything can be connected to everything" philosophy. The only thing that's almost completely left out of this is the sequencer. While I really like the unique approach, I'd also also really like to be able to simply connect a clock to it's input and stuff like that. Using sequencers in a modular environment can be very interesting, which isn't really possible at the moment.

You need to update the "about" section on your website to introduce your new team members.

Well, the thread comes at a time where Howard is working on a soundset with extensive documentation on how things work. So, hehe, it's neither neglected nor do we rest to educate.
