I collected a few freebies a while back, and perhaps someone can help.

Film composer Jasper Blunk created some brass samples, and I've grabbed the Altissimo Horn, Altissimo Trumpet, and Vibrato Trumpet zip files. Unfortunately for me, they're formatted for Kontakt.

Can't afford a full version of Kontakt, so I was hoping someone had already mapped them for Plogue Sforzando. Any help would be appreciated.

I've looked at some conversion software (Extreme Sample Converter, Chicken Translator, etc), but again, budget prevents me from making the buy.

These are Kontakt 5 patches, mentioned conversion soft wouldn't work anyway. But, these are simple patches, no velocity layers, just open Kontakt in demo mode and copy mapping manually, it shouldn't take long.

Can I do this operation in Kontakt Player?

Edit: Not only am I broke, I'm a total noob.

Kontakt player will for for 15 minutes with these, enough time to open the patch and see the mapping. Then you can map samples in another sampler manually.

Contact the sounds designer and ask if there is an SFZ version.

I'm not sure Mr. Blunk is still around. I host them because the readmes say its OK. The VI-control guys got me all of them (I think) and I think that was were they showed up originally. If any of you fine SFZ maker chaps want to create mappings I'll be happy to host them.
