If you're an owner of Oddity2 (and you all really should be), I have some free patches for you.

There are two banks of 64 patches that I originally made for Oddity which I have converted and tweaked a little (adding polyphony in some cases, some sub osc - whatever I felt added to the sound) plus a whole new third bank of 64 presets for you.

You can find my original Oddity patches here:

And I also have 171 impOSCar2 patches that I made a while back so you may already have those:

Yes thank you very much in deed.

Thankyou and merry Xmas

Thank you Mr A :tu:
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

The Oddity 2 banks are all in .pbk format but when I go to the Oddity banks folder on my Mac they are all in fxp format - is there a way to convert these to fxp too?

Oh hang on there's 2 different folders of presets in different places - some in fxp and some in pbk - why? The plugin itself seems to load and save pbk.

Thanks - tbh I don't use Oddity 2 as much as other synths due to the fact that it has a bug in Kore 2 that makes it impossible to import patches but I do also find the preset saving rather clunky

Post

Agreed,that's the weakest point on Oddity2 saving/loading

So all the more impressive when someone manages to put together a whole bank - or 3 even

Although the problem remains of how to convert these to fxps to use in hosts like Bitwig?

Post

Well I'll have to leave it to you guys to figure out how to use in other software - I'm PC and Cubase-only.

It seems to me there is just one possibility but it's a Windows job as there is no Mac app that does the second part. Firstly it would mean saving out the pbk as a fxb bank - that part is easy. Then it would need loading into VSTHost or Cantabile, both of which have the ability to split a fxb into fxps.

There is an option to save as .vstpresets, but I'm not sure how useful that is.

Would that help?

Can't use Oddity2 (at least the demo doesn't install) but I have impOSCar2 and your patches sound good. Thanks! Merry Xmas!
